As crushing as losing Petty and Melky is, lets look back at rd 12 King's Birthday. Petty was an injured full back, and Melky was playing VFL. These blokes rescuing us was pure luck (unless Goody listened to a few of us in 2022 and played Petty forward permanently). How did we not see this cluster * coming earlier?
