Another week, another thread.

So Rondo's banishment has seen the Bulls beat Charlotte, Toronto and Cleveland (albeit undermanned without Mr no chance of ever winning a regular season MVP)....

I feel like something else happened.....

Oh and Atlanta are tearing it up.... or are they. 8 and 2 in their last 10, including 6 straight and could easily win their next 6

The Sacramento Kings will offer DeMarcus Cousins a contract extension this offseason using the Designated Player rule that will pay him in excess of $200 million.

The Kings were previously reluctant to move Cousins, who is currently scheduled to be a free agent in 2018. The NBA's new collective bargaining agreement made a trade involving Cousins even less likely due to the Kings' ability to pay him significantly more money than a rival team.

Sacramento remains in the playoff picture for the No. 8 seed in their first season in their new arena.

Cousins signed a four-year, $62 million max extension in 2013.

Oh good I can watch us lose to the Mavs again tomorrow

So how do we see Kyle fitting into Cleveland. He's an elite spot up shooter and is a fantastic mover off the ball. He's never been a great defender but Atlanta have been able to work around that.

Obviously he'll fit offensively. But I'm guessing he'll be coming off the bench initially in a 15 to 20 minute a game type role. If they play him at the 2 it does make for a pretty porous backcourt defensively. Likewise if he ends up in Love or Frye lineups.

He's not a turnstile by any means, but come finals time...... You'd probably want him up against bench containing lineups against the dubs. Up against a curry klay KD green lineup is just asking for trouble.

Fun times ahead for Cleveland regardless

He and Kyrie are having pretty similar seasons across the board.

Steph turns it over a touch more, rebounds it a bit more, has a higher free throw rate and has the slightly better BPM's, WS and Vorp. PER is pretty much even. Steph has him covered in most stats in the %'s as he plays a minute or so less per game. Kyries shooting a touch better from 3.

Stephs always been a high unassisted 3 maker, but his % assisted threes is up 20% this season. One of the many impacts of the presence of KD

If he didn't win finals MVP when they won he won't win it when they lose, the K-Love snub stung too

Disagree on the reason his percentage assisted rate is up being because of KD. Main reason is that his pull up 3s have been trash this season.

Eye test only. No stats to back it up. But this is the internet, so facts aren't really that relevant.

His pull up 3s are 39 from 60 attempts fwiw

His jump shot is hovering at 30 percent everywhere

He's only 36 percent in the left corner 3 which is surprising

I was thinking he's probably taking less unassisted 3s rather than making more assisted. Might be worth looking further into the numbers

Are you sure Steph is 39/60 on pull up 3s? Doesn't seem right.
