Crows squeaked past the line with 50 secs left today. Phew ....for the second week in a row. Must be due some bad luck soon

Was all set to add Syd H2H too and make it a multi!!

Good thing about Crows today is that some value will still be there for next week. GCS will be worth loading up on too

Anything today 1970crow? My turn for the work syndicate need a certainty or 2.

Mate's horse has travelled solo up to Darwin with his trainer and arrived well, but is odds on in race 6 - Super Bryan. The feature race is race 7 and another mate has Big Man which is fixed favourite on bet365 at $3.50. His trainer also has Lightinthenite which is apparently the best horse he's ever had and my mate is not confident that his horse can match it. He's normally extremely confident with his horses. That might be a bit of a lead, but sadly no certainty. I normally don't bet in Darwin, but I've backed Orion in that race. The toppy racing first up over 1600m with 64kg from a wide barrier would be an enormous effort, so i'm happy to risk him. I've got a few trifecta units with Orion to win and the other 2 to run 2nd and 3rd.

Thanks Tom Lynch for a big contested mark and goal with 6 seconds to go pushing GCS to 25+

I will post some bets for the Euros as of tomorrow.

For those with a Sportsbet account, now is a good time to back Adelaide for the minor premiership at $26. We most likely won't finish top at the end of the season but with our run home our odds should shorten in a big way allowing you to cash out for a tidy profit late in the season. We were $51 before last weekend's match and if we can win this week in Perth i'd imagine our odds will at least half again.
Into $4 third favourite now and will shorten again this week if we win. Hope you got on at $26

Thought those who frequent this thread might be able to have some suggestions for me.
Am coming over for Crows v Pies with a few others this week and wondered what is a good PubTab (other than the Casino) in the CBD for an afternoon on the punt and pots/middies/schooners (whatever you guys call them).
(Need to know where to back the Pies Over 39.5*)

*this is humour.

Hindley St. TAB and Pub next door to each other. Cop shop and McDonalds and Subway across the road.

The cop shop is if you try any of that humour in the pub

:D

The Rosemont Hotel, 160 Hindley St. is a big sports bar/ TAB pub with plenty of screens.

The Talbot has a good setup, plenty of screens and two machines - handy if busy.

Rosemont is ok but punting screens are in the sports bar and the focus isn't punting, some other sport will be on with the volume up. Go to the Talbot for a more serious day on the punt, they have screens for footy too but no volume - all volume is Sky Racing 1 and 2

The odds for my flag Rory Brownlow double has halved but only getting 36 profit at this stage if I cash out.. Looks like I'll wait it out til finals!

Jump on a tram and head to the Grand in Glenelg. Then you can jump on the tram and head to the game about 6'ish.

So looks like I'll be winning my $10 bet on the Crows making the eight at odds of 2.50.

Is it worth my while chucking a tenner or a twenty on us for the flag at 5.50? I'm just not the kind of person to risk one or two hundred dollars.
Totally up to you - if you can afford to lose it why not, it adds to the excitement!
