Treloar didn't have a problem leaving GWS, now it's the end of the world when the tables are turned. Collingwood shouldn't have even needed to justify it, if they wanna fu** him off then fu** him off

They eventually incompetently unprofessionally managed to "fu** him off". They attempted and failed to cover the real reason up. Then tried to attribute blame elsewhere. Gaslighting.

Thereby indicating:
- That long term (eg 5 year) big dollar contracts, and the intention and spirt behind them, are meaningless at Collingwood
- That requests to delay personal income (revised back end) from such contracts for the supposed benefit of the team/organisation with deciet that the player will be part of, are a devious deceptive ruses concocted by incompetent people at Collingwood.
( As announced today by Buckley the intent was there 12 months ago when extending such contract due to "bulging salary cap" )
- Any lie to attribute blame elsewhere, other than CFC management, is acceptable at Collingwood.
- The ordinarily blabber big mouths , shut up and hide, when their deviousness is exposed and failings are unravelling.


... whilst continuing to pay part contract for other teams players and get bugger all back in the fire sale just to "fu** him [THEM] off " JUST to try to save their own arses!
They now hope they have now fixed up their mistakes enough, apparently with intent to chase naïve stupid RFA's on similar big bucks devious contracts in future LOL!!!!!

Treloar saw out his contract and moved to Collingwood, absolutely nothing wrong in that as player movement happens all the time. Pretty normal.

Collingwood however kept backending his contract to sign other people, then signed him to a long-term contract with big bucks, then ****ed him off the same year because they knew they couldn't afford it. He wanted to stay and honour his contract yet they made it impossible due to their total incompetence, then they tried to assassinate both his and his wife's characters to cover their monumental screw up.

Did he do any of that to GWS??

Collingwood took the absolute piss out of Treloar and it's utterly deplorable.

What media tour? He gets invited to do interviews/has obligations and attends them. Then he gets asked questions about the situation, which he answers.

What planet are you on where you think he ran to the press to pour his heart out? Barely heard anything from him other than 1 tweet, a statement from his manager and finally his interview at the Bulldogs.

Heard a lot from Collingwood though, a lot of it contradictory.

Collingwood, as an organisation is developing a reputation of having a glass jaw. They're clearly upset with the media attention and claim that this is all a beat-up, even though the way they've handled the past few months is textbook in how not to handle PR. They dragged a woman unconnected to the club into the mess and, lo and behold, the woman speaks! And has opinions on matters relating to herself and her decisions! Unlike some WAGs who like to spout about stuff they know nothing about and doesn't really impact them (for example, Rebecca Judd), this woman has probably planned out how their relationship is going to work and then Collingwood, without really properly consulting her has decided to change a fundamental aspect of her life, namely, where her husband works. I'd be shocked if she didn't have strong feelings about the process.
