My call for Spicer to be in the senior team was premature I’ll admit. After watching him today he lacks vigour at the contest, which is understandable due to his size. His positioning is wrong too. He is very talented but will need plenty more time.

Outside of Dom, the best player for us is M Walker, the only Walker not actually on our list.

Xerri and Garner. Will Walker is finding some form, Eddie Ford is trying and been unselfish a couple of times. Spicer has been almost unsighted.

If he's gone alright today, that's a couple of weeks on the trot, so good signs. I think he was only in the 'development' squad leading into the final list selection, so he's fought his way into the side

Ya gotta feel for Patch, he's been handed the sloppy seconds of the sloppiest seconds with a bare cupboard of players to use from AFL level, and he's managed to inspire this team to win at least 1 quarter when they were 100 points down.
