Well theyve ****ed that up havent they!!
There is gonna be a lot of traffic problems this year with what theyve done...theyve cut up Football Park No.1 ( i think thats what its called) well the oval just outside footy park, and put a massive bus terminal there...theyve put what i think will be a obahn like bus lane in the middle of the road where the traffic island used to be...which defies logic to me...theyve changed it into a two lane road...theyve cut out the left hand turn anytime at frederick road...theyve moved the members car park from the northern end of the ground to god knows where! we just got told we cant park here anymore cos its the 'corporate' carpark...well **** corporates...what about us normal footy goers...PLUS, theyve made it so you cant turn right onto frederick road OR tapleys hill road for up to 2 hours after the game because of buses!!

so basically i have to find a new way home after the game!! They are trying to turn it into the MCg where you can catch a tram to right outside the groud...well i dont wanna catch a bus to footy park!! theyve made a right royal mess of what used to be a great road and oval!!

I agree wholeheartedly. The bus depot and the ripping up of Westlake Blvd looks like the worst case of vandalism I've ever seen. The irony is that they're putting in all these new seats, and come up with this brainwave of bussing us all in. Those who can't catch the bus aren't going to be able to drive/park there without a lot of difficulty, so we won't want to go...

When I spoke to a woman at SANFL about the parking on Max Basheer Reserve, and she told me it wouldn't be available to Joe Public any more, I couldn't believe it. When I asked her how they were going to publicise it, she said they weren't and she couldn't have cared less... The SANFL is sadly lacking in any PR skills, and the fact they hold the monopoly means they hold us supporters in complete contempt.

I agree...the old redcoat that we had the unfortunate pleasure of getting our parking ticket checkd by, gave us a pamphlet about something and said "dont bother going to this gate next week because this is now the corporate parking area"...needless to sa y lots of swear words came out of my dads mouth

Theyve moved the members car park from the West Lakes Mall/north side of the ground to the max basheer reserve i think..or "gate 4" wherever that is!!
