2021 - prelim

Let's not forget
2013 - Losing free kicks against North by 22
2013 - Going 5-0 and falling to 5-5
2013 - Losing to Geelong because donuts got scared.
2014 - Getting bullied by the AFL about wearing a home kit because richmond couldn't wear their clash, only for them to literally rock up in their clash.
2015 - The we didn't protect Travis game
2015 - That carlton game
2018 - Aidyn Johnson tagging mcgovern
2019 - Terrorizing Lachie Neale
2021 - Drew on the bench, prelim over in 5 minutes
2022 - 0-5 followed by 1-5
2022 - Not picking a ruckman for most of the year and acting shocked we sucked.
2022 - Backing in Ken after 10 years of * nothing
2013 - now - not wearing out bars.

Playing Sam Gray to 90 something games
Playing Jed McEntee.
Playing Aidyn Johnson.
THAT Jarrad Redden game.
Playing Jake Neade after he went stale.
Binning John Butcher after his career best form.
Having Fantasia get on a plane, fly to Melbourne, watch a game on the bench, fly back, immediately ping a hamstring in the first minute of the sanfl.
Putting mckenzie out for this year's showdown when he probably should have been in a medically induced coma only to watch gallant kick a bag.

That ******* Farris brothers wank.
Koch turning the club into a play thing.
The ******* travesty of a teal guernsey - i blame brad.
The social media team becoming piss.
Having the club staff and mouth pieces achieve doctorates in gaslighting fans.
Having club staff label paying members as white noise
Watching a s**t coach getting treated like he single handedly saved us.
Watching us bottle ever season under this flog.
Killing westhoff, schulz, ebert and grays career.
Anchoring our entire gameplan on an injury prone bloke who doesn't care about football.
Jonas.

The list is endless.

And we've had to suffer through it all, and get told 'nah bro, this is how it should be'

2016 - Losing to Carlton in the dying stages at Marvel after going 18 points up at the 13 minute mark of Q4. Getting completely overrun despite Levi Casboult getting injured five minutes into the game, and Paddy Cripps literally hobbling around on a bad knee.

Peak-Mad Professor Burgess cooking the players during the week so they couldn’t blow out a candle against injury-riddled teams when it mattered.

Worst has to include picking ******* Fivelayson over Hayes in ruck and simultaneously destroying two careers and the club's season. That said there could probably be a book written on the stupid selections we've had over the years.

Every ******* game plan since 2015, especially up forward.

But yeah nothing is as bad as the no captains debacle. If we're talking disappointing that's easily the most disappointing thing I've ever seen as a Port fan, and that includes what happened in 2007.

season ending games against freo in the wet

Yes I could easily do the Worst poll, but I can't, that crosses the line for me from being disappointed in this club to being outright destructive about it, I can't go there.

We all know that Ken changed after Peter Hubbard's death.
Rather than win one to honour his old mate, football became the most important non-important thing, and no more.

Jeez I'm going to celebrate when I have hope again, and we all know what will provide that.

Choco turned choking allegations into a premiership and stuck it up them.
Ken will never do that.
And no amount of bullshit from our lead bullshitter will change my mind.

Slaughtering a richmond who the media said were in unstoppable form.

Going to a killing field and knocking off fremantle after being dead in the water, thanks to gricky magic.

Almost knocking off one of the most dominant teams of the modern era away from home, and we only didn't win because of inexperience.

All in 3 weekends. Nothing else comes close for the decade.
At the end of the day these both resulted in PF exits (though obviously tougher circumstances in 14). I just think when you couple that with such a dominant H&A season, as disappointing as that makes the finals result, the feeling of being first every single week of the H&A season is unmatched by any other H&A moment.
