Funny how you guys only take 1 part of the post, completely ignoring the second part of the post which is a condition for my view on the first part to be true. It’s like… Idk, you have an agenda? Well that’s clear.
Collingwood supporters and reading comprehension really don’t go well together.
Pies fans seem pretty good at reading and comprehension.
This post says they would rather their team not play in GFs.
Perhaps it is the honesty bit that we have picked up as bullshit.
You have to be kidding yourself that you rather your team not make a GF.
But that is what has happened to once proud Baggers, they are now so broken they pretend they are happy with their team not making GFs.
Hope you get your wish again in 2024, another free weekend in late September so you can mow the lawn in peace.

See the bolded word? That is a comparison. Let me break it down even further for you since you don’t get it. I’d rather …. than …. . When you say that, you are making a comparison. Get it?
I think not playing in a Grand Final is much more preferable to me than having a 2/7 record in Grand Finals. If we do ever make a Grand Final, a win is the only acceptable result.

Carlton have been bundled out of their last nine finals series without winning a Premiership. That is an insane finals record. In those 9 attempts they have only made one Grand Final. That is quickly becoming one of the worst finals records of the modern era.

You do realise that if your team is in the GF you have seen them win at least 2 finals (including a PF)?
The YeoShuey method advises against competing so you always "enjoy" not losing.
You have certainly picked the right club in Carlton...rarely make finals, and when they do never seriously threaten to make a GF anyway. The perfect club for you

Well, from my own experience of supporting a winning team of winners, I can report back that it’s not possible to win Grand Finals unless your team actually plays in them. And has got there by winning finals. And has qualified for the finals by providing their fans with joy most weeks of the H&A season.
