IMO the experience of playing a final at the g trumps Etihad. Good teams play on any ground and conditions

If this was at Etihad, we would have won and played Hawthorn at the G.

So we still would have gotten our match at the G.

Just not good enough on the night. Goal-kicking and connecting inside 50 are massive parts of the game, and we were very poor tonight.

Amazing season. Brought a lot of joy. Time for a rest.

I was very disappointed with Wallis tonight, just wasn't influential when it was needed

I'm all for experience at the G, but surely we should get a bit more of a chance during the year. If the AFL are serious we get at least 4-5 games there during the year.
We defended the ground poorly but attacked really well. We have a group of young guys that within a year or two will drag us across the line in finals even if we don't play well.
Just in a state of shock, not because of the result but because it's just hit that this amazing season is over.

Can't agree when he was brilliant in getting clearances - you know he was probably number 1 to a 44-24 clearance win. It isn't his job to be an outside player and hit targets. You can have a go at about 15 of our players before you do Wallis.

that hurt, we made so many mistakes, but even those mistakes woudn't have cost us the game had we simply kicked straight within 30m of goal FFS!... ahhh over now, but so very proud of our lads, they will feel that hurt and it can only make them hungrier.

The team i feared the most out of all the elimination finalists and it showed all game why, with how you were outclassing our midfield.

Good luck for next year, and a part of me isn't looking forward to the rematch.

So proud of our boys. Sure they made plenty of mistakes tonight, but they've exceeded our expectations.

Oh no, a key position player that has played less than 30 games made a few errors against the best key forward in the competition. Roberts is bloody fine and an absolute vital cog to our backline.

Well. The inexperienced guys.

Biggs was great. He was a bit tentative when he first broke into the side but he was fearless and inventive tonight.
Hunter was prolific.
Honeychurch was manic but you need to bring a bit more than just defensive pressure.
Fletcher and Hamling battled manfully. I thought they did alright without being great or terrible.
Jong got a lot of it but wanted the ball out of his hands as quickly as possible.
Stringer either did the impossible or fluffed it - didnt seem to be much in between.
Bonts was good but goal kicking.
Jacko was even. Needs more strength to be more effective in the style of game he is transitioning to.
Daniel was lively. Needs a bit more power to just get the tiny break on the opposition he needs to find a target.

Special guest mention - Crammers with 5 points. A fair few of those were 40m snaps. Maybe a tiny bit more poise required.
