Pressure Pressure and tackling that's the key.Has to be a 4 qtr effort no dropping off and we need 22 contributing.Nail our chances and dominance in the game to and cut the cheap goals late.Entrys in the forward 50 have to be of quality this is we're we can take advantage. Isolate Lynch one on one and make Jonas accountable not roam around free.Bolton and Martin can give them headaches up there.Try to get a good start they have had 1 game in 24 days.

Big job for Nank he has to compete that's all and take Lycett around the ground his not great. As someone said when Ladhams goes in the ruck Balta can follow him.

Defence wise like us to tighten up compared to last 2 games I think Broad helps that.Pressure on them weither they like it or not there favourites and alot of big talk with no runs on the board.

These days are the reason you follow the footy, it's nervy sure, it'll suck if we lose, but the prize for succeeding at this stage once is worth failing 10 times. I'm not even sure winning a flag matches the realisation you're going to the Grand Final. We can't expect to be on top for an entire game against teams of this quality, even GWS last year had 10min of resistance.
They are going to try get under our skins, Hartlett's comments confirm it. No problem. If they're thinking about us all night and we're just about the ball we will be well on our way. Some of our finest wins under Dimma have come against Port in Adelaide. His first win back in 2010. Sending Kane Cornes to the fire brigade in 2015. Coming of age in 2017. And of course the miracle on grass last year. If we get up tonight this will be right up there with the best of the best.

Given the talk from Hinkley I'm expecting the Power to come out and try and take it up to us in a physical sense early on to show they won't be intimidated. If they do that I reckon it backfires on the spectacularly as they won't be focused on win the contest which will allow us to use our experience in this situation to settle into the game like it's a normal game and Hardwick will have the boys focused and prepared for the fight telling them to make the ball the focus and not to respond to the niggle. When we've been on a mission like that this year we've taken the game away from both WCE & Geelong quite quickly and once we did that we were able to then grind them into the ground.

Reading up on the history of "Eat-Em-Alive" has to be an Omen.

It was our first ever premiership 100 years ago, so happy birthday.

At the end of the 1920 premiership victory over the Pies, Tiger ruck Barney Herbert shouted to the excited Richmond crowd, “What did we do?” The crowd replied, “we ate’em alive.”

Thus a famous club catch-cry was born.

Ruckman Harry in the Tiges first ever Flag 100 years ago, also played in October, another omen
