SPS is nearly papers stamped for me, just doesn't get out of 1st gear at any stage. Immense talent but just doesn't work hard enough, he is another Menzel.
Blues couldn't even give us one whole day of basking in smugness
It’s genuinely an indictment that our highest possession winner is a kid who has been out for two years and is playing his first competitive VFL/AFL game.
On the flipside, Kemp a real bright spot (even if he has made mistakes).

Didnt mean it as an absolute statement, although I shall look at the specifics of those things. See if there's something to learn!The finality of that statement in sporting circles sits in contrast to modern medical research.
The ability to manipulate inflammatory processes through training, lifestyle and nutrition intervention, and to more efficiently condition an athlete is there, but not when people are mad that a player who could play a role has to sit out for at least 3-4 weeks.
Strongly recommend you look into Columbus Crew SC and the last 18 months of the US Men's Soccer team.

Haha we haven't killed anyone. Why can't afl plauers take some responsibility for their performance. They are joggers. They don't gut run, they don't compete. You can't teach that. They should both be put on the trade table and/or delisted if no one wants them.
We need to draft hard nosed competitive beasts not timid skillful boys who hate physical contact.

I'm sorry, but LOB is better than what's on display today. We are getting hammered by a well drilled experienced team that's been around for decades. As opposed to our squad getting put together at the end of last year. There is no team cohesion in the Carlton VFL squad as yet... these things will come.
Anyone who expected Box Hill to be as weak as their senior squad have made a serious mistake. Box Hill have a very good squad.

Sps dominated Collingwood and bulldogs playing the guts. Put him back and he slowly regressed to the point where we may as well have 17 on field.

In other words, he has played two good games of football in 4 years.
If SPS wants to be a midfielder then break your way into it through consistent performances. Why do we have to give midfield Handouts to these guys when they haven't earned it?
Sorry Ed Curnow. You put your body on the line week in week out and run all day. However you won't be playing the same midfield minutes because flighty SPS can't get a kick at half back.

The Carlton reserves have been around since the end of last year while Box Hill have been around for decades. You can't expect a side to gel and gain team cohesion overnight do you? As for the VFL listed players... they are just a bunch of blow in's who we grabbed at the end of last year so we could fill out the squad. We are short of VFL listed talls and today it's showing. Our ruckman looks like he needs to spend the next 10 weeks down at Maccas eating cheese burgers followed up by10 hours in the gym. He looks like a strong breeze will snap him in two. And his our tallest player.

You're right, it is not our top 10 draft picks fault they refuse to run and compete. It's the vfl listed players fault!

Missed the first Q, was it any better? Because that was horrific!!
The positive is obviously 17, he’s huge and moves ever so well. Couldn’t care less about some mistakes at this stage, he’s playing his first ever game against men
SPS though, he should be made to watch every second of that whilst getting some brutal feedback, doesn’t even look like he cares anymore

I’ve got as much chance of cutting it up at Freo next year.
Currently a conditional footballer that lacks the want to do the hard work required.
Not many make it in the AFL if you’re both lazy & lack heart.
Tracking to be a bust and that’s a real shame.
Needs a 180 degree turnaround, just don’t see it at the moment.

Yeah exactly right. We've got no one to take a mark. Mids feed off those marks that the talls provide. Those pivot points across the park. It's ******* hard playing with no pillars.

Needs some time with Power and O'Keeffe redeveloping his skills. Our development coaches were shocking until we grabbed those two. Like everything, it just takes time.
