Need to be on playing level field in that area so we have to squash the beef even if it means Balme apologising for his outburst when they visited the club. There is no feeling of victory for us in Balme losing it with them.

2022 our only real weakness was the midfield. So, my favourite analogy, we have a great racing car, but the engine sucks. Fix the engine and you will win a lot of races.

If we can get a good KPF in the next few years then we can have a good run of contending - 5+ years. Win 2 or 3 and all is good with the world.

If all goes right we win next year and keep on rolling. Which would destroy the media 'experts', most oppo supporters and just simply be awesome. But a lot has to go right - however it's all conceivable that we will get it right.

Geelong fans and the footballing public would've thought they were done at the end of 2021 with many failed prelim exits and an extremely aging list.

Can't rule anything out and we're given ourselves a shot with Taranto and Hopper but we still need a LOT to go right to snare another flag.

Prestia - No longer has to carry the midfield can play a more damaging game
Bolton - He is going to love the less attention both midfield and Foward line with Dusty/Cumberland doing their thing
MRj - Another year and another step up
Sonsie - Full pre season and more core strength taking over the Shedda role
Graham - Takes over the Lambo role and can start being more damaging and less defensive

Miller , Gibbo , Ryan , Brown , Clarke , Banks - Another year another pre season

I really think we can finish Top 4 next year we still have our core group that know what it takes and with Taranto & Hopper as well as some of the best young players on our list we could easily win a couple more in the next few years.

If Cotchin Riewoldt Lynch can maintain their form of last year I reckon we're a sneaky chance
Its also not unrealistic to say Cotchin Riewoldt will be slower & weaker.
At the moment though I reckon its going to be an exciting year
