Our midfield just got shown up and it’s a clear issue.

Sonsie isn’t a flanker and doesn’t play the position well when we use him there in the seniors. When played as a midfielder in the VFL he shows what he’s capable of.

We should give him midfield time in the ones and really see if he has something to offer. We have nothing to lose. Our current midfield mix is woeful.

I'm not sure why everyone is getting emotional about the result. This game in the scheme of things means absolutely nothing. Both teams are rebuilding.

Both teams get draft picks at the end of the season. The future matters. Not the here and now.

Seriously, think about this game and this season in that context.
Not upset but huge opportunity lost.

Two in a row would’ve been huge for the Kids and seniors with the opportunity to push for 3 with the bombers next week.

Learning how to win is a thing. Gave ourselves a chance after giving up 6 goals in the 1st qtr. missed late chances. Plenty to be happy with for sure.

But 4 points would’ve been awesome.

North are meant to be well ahead with their rebuild.

sosnies not the answer, hes a soft , slow spud and vfl is his level

hes as good as delisted

I disagree. Roos will more than likely win more games than us in the 2nd half of the season so we needed to win this to keep them as low as possible at the end of the season. This result was big for us and it didn't go our way.
I can’t see them winning another game until they play us again both games against eagles and Freo is over there they sold 2 home games the dumb ****s

I think North are on the improve too, but I can only see them getting above us and possibly Melbourne on the ladder at best. That is still a top 4 pick.

I think both teams played well today and that we were slightly the better team. North were better at taking their chances when it presented itself, but we were better in the general play (and missed our own chances).

Strangely I'm happier with this game than the one last week where we won. It's probably that I thought were were flat in last week's game and didn't play well despite the win.

Had an enjoyable day at the footy despite the result. Sam Lalor, oh boy we have something special on our hands. Imagine him 2 preseasons from now. Our next home game, Sat 7th June against Swans. Taking the misses along. She's already having flashback nightmares of Easter Sunday last year. 😁 Onwards and upwards Tiges !!!!

I think we are a chance against the Swanettes

and Judson Clarke
18 possessions and 1 goal
time to bring him in ???
Judson Clarke’s 18 possessions and a goal aren’t too shabby, especially with his recent VFL spark and recovery from that ACL. Both he and Sonsie are knocking on the door, but with our rebuild in full swing, it’s a balancing act—reward form, sure, but also keep an eye on long-term development. Sonsie’s probably got the edge for next week, but Clarke’s not far off. The selectors have a tough call, but it’s a good problem to have when our VFL boys are firing like this.

Im wrapt with our rebuild so far, we're better than last year, with more talent that hasnt even been sighted at afl Level. Injury management better... Everything is better, and we don't have Jack darling running around for us either

Who are they overtaking on today's form? Melbourne seem to be a lot better last few weeks, everyone else is far better than the bottom few teams, maybe Essendon, but they already have 5 wins and play us twice. To get out of the bottom 4, North will probably need 9-10 wins for the year. That's not happening. It's really just them and Melbourne in a battle for 15th. Port Adelaide and Dees not having their firsts helps us as neither will tank late in the season.
