This below legs rule has got to change in interpretation. Was brought in for something so much different that what they are paying now.

You can’t tell me Selwood isn’t a protected species. He’s obviously a koala bear. Jesus christ.

Selwood caught with the ball, paid a free to him, unbelievable , until the AFL stop this incompetence in decision making we have no improvement in this game of ours, Main with his free when the ball went off a geelong blokes leg from a few feet out or less, that's not what out on the full was for, now Selwood is the person that ruins games , for some reason he gets frees when he simply hasn't earned them , he was caught, now Dangermouse different situation he dives for the BALL... HIS JOB IS THAT... and gets pinged for trying to attack the ball, a free against him NO IT WASN'T SO WHY???!! AND PEOPLE IN THE MEDIA OR BIG FOOTY who can't see it just leave me scratching my head??? The greyed up rules are going to frustrate this sport into the gutter, umpire mistakes ??? or AFL bullshit rules ???? WHY?
Even you Geelong people must squirm when you watch how this bloke is looked after, and you don't reckon it could become a gamblers port of call?? Fun being destroyed by disbelief. who is running this shit. Its Gil .

That free kick to Pendlebury was exactly why they brought it in.

Couldn't find your post re: Roughead but certainly thinking Moore + Roughead are going to make it difficult for Reid and Dunn to come back in when fit (presuming that Dunn might be a little bit slower with another year older and an ACL added). Both Moore and Roughead look settled, although helps with Langdon and Howe helping.

I hope they do remain settled, and that the older/injury-prone guys can be experienced depth (same goes for Wells and Greenwood in the middle).

Clark could well be the best player from the draft in 5-6 years time

Simple change. Outlaw leading with the legs and outlaw being 2nd to the ball on the ground (i.e. if a player is picking it up and you take his legs as he picks it up - that's a free).

First to the ball, you get to choose how you go (includes first hands to the ball). Can't believe it's this hard for the AFL.
