Merrett and Harmes easily there I think. I'm not confident on Sloane's full midfield role.

Someone was saying Sloane is going to be play Half forward and rotating in mids?
Seems the obvious rotation for him. How much time he spends at HF is an unknown but he’s certainly capable up forward.

I've been thinking about this one too. Daniel has a great first few weeks, and I have no idea what position Doc will play with Newman and Saad back there this year.
Doc the higher ceiling, but also higher ownership.

Lots more cash generation with option 2
And that's the thing this year, even if rookies are 1 or 2 down on the norm, you'll need to generate cash in other ways.
Que that dirty pre season word, "Midpricer".
Option 2 might make more and fund their own upgrade, despite option 1 getting you a keeper, some cash gen and generally looking the smarter choice.
