I think you’re right with Ruscoe, too early still and can turn it around.

He’s looking like the most exciting player from the crop so far. Still raw, and needs to put on some size, but his willingness to move the ball quickly and open up the contest will be priceless moving forward.

So my impression is that in a few years with some more size and preseasons we have a good bunch of new mids. Bigs not so much but Tohill went ok and Willson might play a few games. Rantall impressive, poulter good, Tyler got into it more in the 2nd half. Good to get a win, a little unimpressive game but given our mixed group it’s a definite win.

Pouter looks great, roamed up and down solidly all day. Very impressive
Rantall deserves a chance, had a dip all day.
Henry has serious ability, lazy defensively but has a bit of X factor about him.
McMahon looks good just needs to find it a bit more.
