He won the Player of the Year award for the VFL list players who are not on the Senior or Rookie Lists. I don't know what you are trying to prove here, the coaches clearly rated him last year.
Not trying to prove anything old mate , just saying Haley is much better and ive seen both at local level , what's your point

Good effort from Collis to be named skipper.
The narrative when he joined us was that we signed him because he was Papley's best mate (after Tom's abortive trade).
Obviously impressed the coaches, given we had more 'obvious' choices (eg Bartholomaeus, Shipley).

Paywalled article. Here are the quotes from it about Tom Longmire.

Last year, Longmire played one game for the Swans Academy in the Coates Talent League (formerly the NAB League), as well as Under 19s, reserves and seniors for the Bulldogs.

“He’s flying. Going really well,’’ new Swans VFL coach Damian Truslove says of Tom Longmire.

“First year on the list and he’s going to play key back. He’s very mobile, has a great jump, he’s tough and his closing speed into contests is outstanding.

“I think he’s going to be a later bloomer.

“He’ll play this week (in a practice match against GWS) and he’s a chance for round one.’’

Longmire played on Tom Fullarton in a scratch match against Brisbane’s VFL side two weeks ago and the Swans thought he did an excellent job.

“He’s a quiet kid who just goes about his business,’’ Truslove says.

“He doesn’t want to talk about his dad or anything like that. It’s just about him trying to create his own journey.’’

Anyone know how many of the players on VFL list are of ruck/KP back/KP forward size? Always curious as to what potential depth we may have in that area in future seasons. By some comments looks like Horse Jr and new recruit Hayley based on him kicking so many goals might both be a fair size.
