Lance Franklin
Lance Franklin is a giant of the game. The star Sydney Swans forward has played 300 AFL games, won two premierships with Hawthorn, is the seventh-greatest goal-kicker in VFL/AFL history, is one of just five men with eight All Australian blazers and is the most recent player to have kicked 100 goals in a season. The Western Australian is also one of just two players in the game’s history, along with former Swan and Saint Tony Lockett, to have booted 300 goals for two clubs. Franklin was added to a leadership group for the first time in his career ahead of season 2020, joining co-captains Josh Kennedy, Luke Parker and Dane Rampe, as well as Callum Mills. But the 33-year-old, who was named captain of the 2018 All Australian team, has long been considered an exceptional unofficial leader, so great is his impact on Will Hayward, Nick Blakey, Ben Ronke and the rest of Sydney’s young forwards.

Lance Franklin
DOB: 30 January 1987
DEBUT: 2005
DRAFT: #5, 2004 National Draft
RECRUITED FROM: Dowerin (WA)/Perth (WAFL)/Hawthorn

They are salty but he definitely has a keg situation going on. Nothing too bad, maybe he likes pale ale or sweet wine
Buddy’s always looked like that. Partly because he has a lower lordosis of the spine so it makes it look like his stomach is bigger than it is. He does look all round bigger, have a look conpared to when he was a hawk, but I’d put it down to him just getting a little bit older. Hes still in great nick and has those LeBron James genes where he never breaks down (touch wood).

I really want to like this but can't take the risk.... sorry!

Not that I'm superstitious or anything...:rolleyes:

and that he has rarely trained since round 1
PS. wasn't there a former Hawk team mate who commented (on Fox?) about Lance's increase in weight?

You're right he never seems to break down. Remarkable that he's only had 2 seasons where he's played less than 18 games in his whole career (and one of them he still managed 17!)

Not sure? I didn’t hear it. If you look at the photos from when he began his career to now he has looked progressively bigger as each season has gone on. Not fat, just filling his frame out.
Give it ten years and when he’s retired he’l start getting the ultra fat head that many past players get, ala Jason Dunstall

Dunstall looks like Thanos.

That's bizzare... I've been watching games all day looking for this photo!

Yep, found it 20 mins ago, but I could have just looked on the site!

Still think he can get 60+ goals for the year.

The coleman is still within his grasp.

I would love for him bang 13 against the Hawks next week to clinch it,

Had a few hawks fans giving me s**t saying buddy’s fat, don’t see it myself
Just preparing himself to become a real FF, like his hero plugger. He will probably play until 2030 at this rate. It’s going to be amazing next year when his training load is raised from 20 minutes a year to 20 minutes a week.

Ben Brown kicked 0.1 against the crows.

Current coleman standings

J. Riewoldt 60
B. Brown 58
L. Franklin 57

(I don't think we have a chance at the flag, so I'm hoping for buddy to get some individual glory).

Has anyone ever charted the opinion of the media/experts on a graph

You know buddy overpaid all the way to Sydney too buddy reliant so we can see the trends
I nominate you to do it!

So, be ready next week will it?
