As long as Pattinson has picked up some pace. I reckon it's tough on Siddle. Glad that Marsh is out instead of Doolan, the one caveat being that Steyn is nowhere near as good against lefties as righties and we've got an extra rightie in the line-up now but then Philander probably would have sorted Marsh out anyway.

Patto better bowl bloody decently in this test, haven't really been impressed with him in the short form stuff and he hasn't played any FC games. Fairly big show of faith (even if he's generally a gun).

Surprised Pattinson came in for Siddle. Thought if he was to come in it would be for Harris. So we go into this Test with an obviusly sore Harris, a injury plagued Pattinson and Watson returning from his millionth soft tissue injury. I bloody hope they all get through

I would of kept Siddle in, and if I was going to replace him it would of been with Bird, but the team looks strong on paper.

Doolan over Marsh- endorsed I'm not big on his chances to make it as a test player, but at least he's not Shaun Marsh.

Watson would have gone back to 3 if Doolan was dropped for him, so very happy it was Marsh that made way in the end. Siddle dropped for Patto? Hmm, not sold on that.
