Also, there is often a loss of a member who either does something stupid or defects, so best to have good contingencies in place.I don't think they'll be ignoring them at all - but they don't actually require their votes in order to get legislation passed.
I'm sure they'll be working very closely with them though, knowing that the next election will probably result in a hung parliament and they'll need to negotiate with these same people if they want to form Govt again in 2025. Actively pissing them off, when you'll likely need their votes for supply & confidence votes in the future, is something that only the Liberals are stupid enough to do.
If the Liberals don't change their ways, we could see a bigger growth in the Teals next election & they do hold the balance of power... so as you say, best too work with them where possible.
