Sydney just kicked an end-to-end goal from a kick-in. It started with a 40-45m kick straight down the middle. This sort of kick is so much easier thanks to the kick-in rule. Sydney takes advantage of the rule better than perhaps any team. They spread the defence out instead of all clustering on one side. What it does is create more space, openings and one-on-ones for them to exploit.
