Just not good enough from guys who should be the 'core' of our list.

Finn Callaghan raises a deliberate forearm to fend off Hardemann and concusses him. If it were a North player, three weeks, but I'd almost put money on Christian calling it no case to answer. That would be the 3rd or 4th North player concussed by deliberate actions of the opposition (LDU, Wardlaw...), and none of them have been deemed to have a case to answer. How Christian hasn't been sacked long ago, I'll never know. His inconsistency and bewildering justifications are staggering.

If this game has has taught me anything, it's to play more of the young fellas who are hungry for the footy and hungry for a chance. We have too many mature players that obviously feel like they are in no danger of losing their spot and they need to learn. Larkey, Comben and Xerri are the only ones that should feel like that imo.

Additionally, in the off season, we need to do a heap of drills on being clean under pressure. So many times our guys get caught out breaking forward when they expect someone to just simply pick up the ball or catch an easy handball. If we can clean that up we will be in a lot more games.

Yeah happy enough. You factor in we start 5-6s behind every game with Clarko’s game plan so I reckon we almost broke even today.
