The seats at Optus are on slders and there is a comfortable gap between seats.To increase capacity by 5 to 10 thousand its as simple as sliding the seats a few inches closer to each other and adding more seats to each row.
To get the capacity up towards 80,000 the major reconstruction would or could be just packing the seating in tighter like other grounds .Taking the existing seats out and putting in smaller seats and making the stairways between sections a bit thinner .
