Why ??

People complain that we don't change things up, well we have and people still ****ing whinge.

Changes that make sense:

Rob for Jacobs
Keath for Otten
Stengle for Douglas
Jones for Knight

A refreshed backline of Talia, Butts, Doedee, Brown and others excites me. Roll it out round 1, 2020.

Trade in some cheap depth and boom, good times especially if we get a good return for Keath

Kelly has had a very good year. I don’t get the crap you guys put on him.

That interchange bench doesn't inspire confidence.

This is probably the one week where we can get away with two rucks. The Grundy factor plus the fact that Collingwood's backline isn't the tallest.

A faster player should have also come in for Lynch.

How can ypu possibly say Lynch should be out?

I disagree with but understand Seedsman for Atkins, we can't have people hitting Fog on the chest in the 50 like last week, it embarrasses the selectors

but Otten out, ROB in? Is ROB supposed to run around in the backlines?

Collingwood have a very small and fast forward line. Good thinking to drop Otten.

Funny that people think we’re “trying something different” playing 2 rucks. We’re playing 2 rucks cause we know ROB is number 1 but don’t have the guts to drop Jacobs for his 200th. We will no doubt run with both of them against Tim English too. We still have an old slow team, too scared to play kids. Meanwhile Richmond pushing for top 4 playing west coast have named 2 debutants in their 25....

He's an ok stopper. Offers nothing other than chip kicks to the pocket or long down the line.

His skill set just doesn't blend well (IMO) with who else we have down there. We need more attack from defence

Hopefully we have genuine plan to combat Grundy and not just hoping that 2 rucks is better than 1. We’ll need to dominate in the air to win.

I doubt there's a coincidence that Greenwood, Keath, Atkins and Jenkins are all out of the side.

greenwood, knight, jenkins, gibbs, seedsman, betts and atkins have all been dropped this year

I'm not convinced Seedsman is a much better option than Atkins.

Seedsman can do exceptional things and I certainly prefer him to Atkins. The only thing about Seedsman is his consistency ....but Atkins is worse, he might play a great game out of every six that he plays. Maybe even worse than that

One step back: Jacobs stays.

No idea how Jacob offers more than Otten. I suppose we will play ROB forward, he won't do much there and so will be dropped for next week.

Why not play ROB and Berg? Berg is a bloody forward but we must get the great clubman to 200 yet Clarko barely gives roughead a final game after 4 flags. Could have moved lynch to wing and played Berg, Fog and Walker with Betts, Gallucci and Jones/Stengle. I have to say it but Murphy has been the luckiest player all year. Guaranteed a spot. Why invest in him? Will never amount to anything other than a poor man's patrenko.

ROB played some seriously good footballer at Half Back for the Calder Cannons when their No.1 defender Jake Lever did his ACL including blanketing then Oakleigh Charger gun Forward Darcy Moore in a TAC Cup Grand Final.

Thats it ... the half back line, as picked, has Kelly who can kick it 20m (albeit straight) but not damaging, Hartigan who kicks to opposition and Dmac who kicks it straight up. Where is that damaging running HB?

Selectors missed an opportunity ... Jones to HF, Smith to HB, Dmac to SANFL.

He's gone, we've already got a deal in the works to trade him and he's sitting out so he doesn't accidentally make his ankle any worse. New team wants him firing to start their next pre-season.

Is this factual or an opinion. I've been suspicious about why Keath has been out for so many weeks. My thoughts were that he wont be with us next year but I dont know that for sure.
