And the other half do ?Yes, but half the board don’t know what they're talking about.![]()

Yep. I like Sturt, but the leeway he gets on here is too much. They say there is no-one to bring in that Sturt is ahead of, but when they were calling to drop banners and bring in Sturt , Corbett etc, where they now lolTBH after performances like yesterday, he is doing a pretty good job of writing himself off. If that were some others on our list, half the board would be writing "delist now".
I think Corbett would offer more at this stage as a forward/sub.

His opportunity was last year when we were bereft of forwards and he was fit .If he really only played 40% game time then 5 touches is about right for a pressure forward.
I'd say the biggest knock on him yesterday was he fumbled a couple of times, but again that's not a surprise given the step up in intensity from a bye at Peel to that game.
This has been said a thousand times but gets forgotten every time he plays - nobody is saying Sturt is a jet, what we say is that he should be given a decent run of opportunities to prove he can play, opportunities literally every other small in the team got and that he hasn't to date.
You can "I told you so" only after he actually gets that chance and fails. Doing it now just proves you weren't listening when we said it the last 500 times.
They are completely different players. A lead up medium forward versus a small forward.I don’t want to knock the guy but I just don’t think he’s got the killer instinct to make it at this level.
I don’t see enough pressure or game awareness that I see in other debut players.
Look at my boy Arthur Jones at the dogs , played like 5 games .
Runs around like a maniac trying to get a touch , that’s what I want to see.
I could name 20 others but CBF , hope he proves me wrong but I’m not seeing it and I don’t think I’m alone .
Nobody thinks Sturt should play over Walters.Ok
I should have added “personally “ I wouldn’t knock him
Just don’t really want him in my team if there are other options
Walters , Corbett , Erasmus hell even Henry would be better
If that were true they would have delisted him. There is something there and his intensity is miles up this year and that is obvious. His opportunity was last year when we were bereft of forwards and he was fit .
Time and tide wait for no man
Corbett and Sturt would be like for like though? They are both 190cm.Nobody thinks Sturt should play over Walters.
Corbett isn't like for like - he is more likely this week if we replace Darcy with a tall
Erasmus isn't a forward and doesn't play there for Peel
And I am guessing you don't remember Henry playing in the forwardline where he's had more chances than Sturt and done a lot less.

Don't think carrot farmer will agree with youIf he really only played 40% game time then 5 touches is about right for a pressure forward.

wth is he in the team forI thought Drizzy did enough to stay in. He set up a couple of goals, created a few turnovers just by getting to the contest and using his reach and leap to intervene. I don’t think he’s far offI would go Erasmus in for Darcy. Jackson as first ruck, Treacy as second ruck and forward, Fyfe as a roaming chf, and Erasmus to midfield, with a bit of forward time. That sort of gives us the same structure we have been working with successfully.
If Sonny is fit, I hate to say this, I would go Sonny in Drizzy out and Freddie to the wing. I am a Drizzy fan, but he is not doing enough at the moment.
He is like 80% of the way there. There is no benefit in dropping him and shuffling someone else to the wing. He gets himself in good positions, especially defensively, and I highly doubt anyone else on our list could do a better job at the moment.I thought Drizzy did enough to stay in. Soldo + NankervisDoes Richmond run with 1 or 2 rucks? Jackson should be fine rucking against Nankervis if Treacy can give him the occasional chop out.
Out: Darcy
In: Erasmus
I'd bring in a midfielder for extra legspeed. The sub can be used to reward someone who's playing well at Peel. Maybe we'll even see another debut.
Yeah he’s definitely building and his size and pace makes him a problem while he’s doing itHe is like 80% of the way there. There is no benefit in dropping him and shuffling someone else to the wing. Soldo + Nankervis
Sorry you’re right, grabbed the wrong team list from today.Has Soldo played a single game this season?
They’re running with Nankervis and Samson Ryan atm. Ryan is ruckman height but is more of forward/ruck at this stage.
Nankervis is a beast. Need protection. Reidy being selected in the draft was for this very reason.Has Soldo played a single game this season?
