I agree, Collins isn't anything special, but the fact of the matter is he should've played more games in a rebuild, see if he has a future and reward his wafl form. At worse we could have increase his trade value. Fact MJ played 20+ games and Collins only playing his second is beyond stupidity, no way did Johnson, who at times this year has played some average footy, no way should he of played over 20 games. He's just average for mine and looked unfit in his 1 AFL game.
Disappointed De Luca not playing.
Are you suggesting someone's held a gun to his head or that you know more about it than the player or the club?Players play, but coaches with commonsense and player management wouldn't play Neale. Extremely disgraceful that he's playing, no ifs or buts about it.

Hopefully those youngster who get cut get another chance at another club (state or AFL). I rather they become Menegola than Josh Simpson .Deluca is bit unlucky and was better than Nyhuis and Logue but wasn't great last week either. The club really need to have another look at Collins and Sheridan and have probably seen enough of the likes of Deluca and Nyhuis.
As an impartial judge it is touch and go for Deluca - could go either way of delisting, remain on Rookie list or upgrade. I'm also torn on Nyhuis as to whether to upgrade or delist and re-rookie but I want him to stay on the list.
The club needs to be ruthless and this might make a few unhappy.
Sorry but Sheridan has had enough looks. He should get delisted. Hardly bulked up, gets pushed off the ball easily and gives half as attitude. Better off focusing on his sunglasses brand. Not gonna to make it. Don't get what posters want from him. He doesn't belong.Deluca is bit unlucky and was better than Nyhuis and Logue but wasn't great last week either. Yeah they're totally infallible and never make poor decisionsI think Lachie can take the opinions of the medical people who have had a chance to actually examine him
Yeah they're totally infallible and never make poor decisions
Just ask the overworked Bennell and unnecessarily risked Blakely
And calf injuries McPharlin, Spurr.Yeah they're totally infallible and never make poor decisions
Just ask the overworked Bennell and unnecessarily risked Blakely
I'm not suggesting they are infallible.Yeah they're totally infallible and never make poor decisions

Brilliant response, not at all idiotic. Are you that stupid that you actually think playing Neale is in any way a good idea? The whole football world would be face palming right now, everyone except the proven average medical team, Ross and off course Taylor. Are you suggesting someone's held a gun to his head or that you know more about it than the player or the club?
I'm not suggesting they are infallible.
Whether any of the decisions would have been different if other people were in those positions is one question that can't be answered and a results based group think decision after the fact doesn't really achieve anything.
Collingwood medical staff get the public blame for Daisy Thomas' ankle being poor prior to his move to Carlton if there isn't news of him ignoring the advice of his medical team and not resting it over his break.
Ryan Crowley claims to have had procedures on his back behind the knowledge of the club which isn't the only time AFL players have hidden things from their medical team, they do it all the time and unfortunately there isn't a universal scan to find problems they don't raise.
That's a cultural problem throughout the entire competition. The clubs fire players who can't play because they are injured. Sometimes those injuries are another player's niggles that aren't raised.
All of our players are carrying something at the moment. AFL football cripples athletes by the end of their career, very few can run long distances for iron man or marathons post career. Pretending that the players don't live in a culture where they are encouraged to return to the field, celebrated for it even, when injured would be naive.
If we only named players who were completely healthy we wouldn't have a team.
So are our medical staff perfect? No.
Could someone else have done a better job? Can't answer that.
I do think it is reasonable to judge by results but I'm not so silly so as to think our staff know every niggle and that our players aren't always pushing to play.
What exactly is wrong with Neale?Brilliant response, not at all idiotic. Are you that stupid that you actually think playing Neale is in any way a good idea? The whole football world would be face palming right now, everyone except the proven average medical team, Ross and off course Taylor.

What exactly is wrong with Neale?Has he just come back from injury?
Is this game important to us?
Has he been playing through pain this year?
Is he too valuable to risk over a nothing game?
Does Neale playing achieve anything?
Do our players have a poor record of recurring injuries in there first game back?
Do you honestly believe there is a benefit of Neale playing on Sunday?

Believe it or not, I don't hav his medical results on my phone. What exactly is wrong with Neale?
You're basing all of your opinion on ignorant fear. That leads to religion.
Common sense would be to not make a decision on something you are guessing every detail of.Believe it or not, I don't hav his medical results on my phone.
I'm basing them on commonsense (bet you took that as an insult). Feel free to answer my above questions though.

So resting Neale isn't commonsense? Hmmm, I'd say 99.9% of people would say it is, so much so even th blokes on 6pr agree and that's saying something.
I'm guessing our medical team isn't that good? Guessing we have a large amount of recurring injuries from rushing players back? Debatable.
