Yet we refuse to play him under any circumstance.
He's a depth player though. Who would you give him a game ahead of right now? Otten probably doing enough to keep his place. Hartigan in better SANFL form. Talia obviously won't be dropped.

We're the only bottom 8 club that does it consistently and have since 2010I know it's completely different based on the In's, but Hawks dropped Langford after one game. It's not like we are the only club that does it.
I guess it's another symptom of shinytoyitis. Kid comes in, does OK (nothing particularly good or bad), therefore he must play again the following week. Doesn't work that way and never has.

Kind of the same thing.I think you might be confusing "refuse to play him" with "everyone bar Siggins has gone past him"
Hows Toumpas been going at melbourne? We're the only bottom 8 club that does it consistently and have since 2010

Isn't this Griggs second year on our list?
Have done this with the following players in our best 22 (or would have been best 22 if they didnt leave):
2008 - Andy Otten (1), Patrick Dangerfield (2)
2009 - Shaun McKernan (1), Rory Sloane (1)
2010 - Jack Gunston (2)
2011 - Phil Davis (3)
2012 - Lyons (3), Brown (3) [could count Kerridge (1)]
2013 - Grigg (1), Hartigan (1).

No I'm referring to what clubs like Hawthorn, Collingwood and Geelong did years ago while developing their premiership quality squads. When you say "bottom 8 club" are you referring to teams like Melbourne and the dogs who leave youngsters in week after week, ultimately destroying their confidence and hindering their development with loss after loss? Because I'd much rather we blood youngsters slowly next to our more experienced players and still compete for finals every year, as opposed to playing all our kids and finishing bottom 4. If they're good enough, they'll have long careers at the club. Making them earn it the hard way isn't going to hurt.
Look at Melbourne 5-8 years ago for answers on how they are going now.Hows Toumpas been going at melbourne?
Given that Danger's first year has an asterisk by it, that leaves one player from that list that would universally be regarded as a good result.

Cant wait to see Hartigan, everyones been raving about him.
BACCS calm down, we're all in this together![]()
All good then ... unless wet, I would drop Hartigan, play Otten as a more mobile CHB & Hendo as 3rd tall defender. McKernan can always go back if we are stretched, but I want to see him run Sandilands all over the park!197cm forward
been told he plays a bit like ruttenHave seen him a couple of times playing for South and he doesn't look overly quick. Has good size though.
I have been assured he is one of quickest down at Panthers especially for his size, but in a game sometimes comes down to confidence and reaction and pro active thinking .Have seen him a couple of times playing for South and he doesn't look overly quick. Has good size though.
None of whom left because of a lack of opportunities, or because they thought they weren't being developed properly as a player. Gunston's comments about not liking what Adelaide did to him as a person (which begs the question what sort of person he is & wants to be) had nothing whatsoever to do with football or the AFC in general.Given that Danger's first year has an asterisk by it, that leaves one player from that list that would universally be regarded as a good result.
The rest got the shits and left, haven't developed or are still too early to say.

Once there, you can top up and give a few tasters around the edges. We select our teams as though we are a premiership team.

Smith played heaps of games. Who is Couch?
How does 'since 2010' refer specifically to 2012 only? Surely the three seasons are more relevant.
