I heard that comment on 5aa last night. i'm still hopeful it's all a smokescreen still.

I'll admit though that i'm 50/50 on wanting him to be rested based on his output, and on Grigg finding a spot in the side.

I'm pretty sure we've only taken 1 emergency too, and with the weather being apparently pretty poor we may need to play thommo regardless just so we can leave out smack or another tall.

Bit of a selection dilemma today I think.

Can't see Hartigan being left out. Don't the club normally fly the player's family to the game when a kid makes his debut? Can't see them flying Hartigan's parents over from Melbourne, only to have to tell them that he was dropped due to weather considerations.

I think it's more likely that McKernan would be dropped. Partly because he's been dropped before, partly because I think he's useless, partly because it's going to be a choice between him & Hartigan - and they won't back down on a debutant after they've been announced.

Mostly because when the weather is poorly you drop your second ruckman for a runner, not a key defender.

I think a wet weather game will suit us, keep it low scoring meaning we will still be in the match for long period of time.

McKernan can't defend to save his life. Otten has too many deficiencies in height, strength and leg speed (Rutten is the same height and speed, but an order of magnitude stronger)

I've got to watch the game but Walters kicked 2 and had 14 possessions. They are ok stats but not earth shattering. He's kicked 4 goals twice this year and 3 goals 4 times. It's also his lowest possesion count in a month.

But you if you would have put a slow Reilly on the quick Walters I'm a bit worried for you Kane because I normally rate what you post but you've lost me on this one.
