For the outs, i think Firrito didn't play too bad in terms of helping out and supporting Delaney but these three guys I have zero confidence with the ball in the back half and we can't clear out of defence, don't make good decisions and don't execute well with the ball. We are losing games by our mistakes and inability to clear defensive 50.

Tarrant to CHF, Hansen as the third tall forward. Petrie at FF.

Assuming Goldy is okay, if he is not then Petrie will have to ruck and we will need Tarrant or Hansen at FF.

Hansen doesn't deserve a game but he wont be dropped, he needs to decide if he is going to remain a boy trapped in a mans body or if he is going to accept the plums have dropped and he has to hit contests hard, the more things don't go your way, the harder you go in, doing nothing should never be plan B and not sure why our on-field leaders aren't giving him a rocket during games.

We need Greenwood in, even at 75% fitness he is better than most of our mids who currently can't play more than half a game. We need Swallow to stay on his feet more, he is not giving us enough offensively, needs a balance between the inside and outside work. He should be aiming to kick 2 goals a game and assist in 2 others.

Never understood why we perservered with Harper so long, didn't so to much or nearly often enough. Atley shows some great stuff but flashes in and out, same as Cunnington.

It is why we are so up and down in games so far, not enough four quarter efforts by enough players.

Cunnington - a mix of good and bad - gets it a lot but takes too long to make decisions - first option every time for him.

Sadly agree re Hansen.

Disagree re Ziebell - wasn't great tonight but played a full game in the wet which is an improvement

Harper I think deserves time. Wright got plenty. Warren probably deserves a crack - kicks better than Thomas and probably falls over about as much.

Hansen needs to go back to the VFL and learn to have some sort of presence in the forward line. Currently he and Petrie are poles apart.

Thomas needs to get some confidence in front of goal. Offered very little tonight, no more than what Garlett could possibly offer in the same role. Worth a punt IMO.

MacMillan was ordinary and Richo probably deserves another go.

Ziebell was ordinary again and like Anthony, needs to be dropped and learn to earn his spot.

One thing I've noticed with us, is that alot of young guys sometimes go in at the wrong times. In this day and age, you are nearly better off, letting someone else go in and get the footy then lay a tackle on them.

i respect you defending our players... however, its just an opinion, but if our future forward line is one containing both hansen and thomas we are going to battle.
admittedly the service is not great, but good forwards can still kick goals in poor teams
i would like to see thomas have a run for a half in the backline... who knows he may provide a bit of rebound and flair... desperate times call for desperate measures.
