Not bringing in a SPP or Rockliff etc lol. This is so Ken though, it's been years now of beating cellar dwellers but then not playing your strongest team coz we won. If only the Hawks and other competent clubs with 2nd rate coaches used this philosphy they'd have won 6 in a row.

Explain how Rockliff is in our best team right now.

So, although Trengove, Snelling & Lienert are consistently playing well and they can't get a game, where does that leave Rocky, is he going to play SPP through the Magpies and how many good games in a row will he need to get back in the side. Not to mention Frampton. Ken will play Ryder until the injury spikes up again and still no game time into Billy, then back on the magic round about.

Personally I would have kept Clurey in so Hoff could have spent a bit more time forward to help Dixon and Watts.

When they're playing well, Barry, Amon, Neade and AJ are the weak links. On form Houston is also a weak link.

So much more balanced in defence with what I think are our best 3 talls in Howard, Jonas and Hombsch.

The reality is we probably are selecting our strongest side. Rockcliff has been down on fitness and form and probably needs time. SPP was partying pretty hard in the off season and has struggled to run out matches. Obviously his confidence has been rattled and will benefit from being managed back into AFL footy.

Both will be key to a successful finals but both need to be managed.

I have no issue with sPP or Rockliff being out.

One was grossly out of form
For his quality of player. Nothing wrong in getting fitness and form in reserves what your pay packet. He will be back and it will make him hungry.

SPP broke team rules, he has to win trust and do the team things to get back in! Simple team of individual.

Not too sure why so many people are bitching about who is not in the side.

Sam Powell- Pepper- none of us know what state of mind Sam was in after the media attack.
Tom Rockliff- is not 100% fit and out of form. Had no pre season and it shows. When Tom burns the SANFL up it will be time to bring him back.
Jarrod Lienert- injured and out for two months.
Will Snelling- still Rookie Listed as far as I am aware and Ken is not likely to promote a 1 game Rookie Listed unknown quantity ahead of a 100 game player in Pittard.
Jack Trengove- probably has a good case but Ken was never going to make more than a couple of changes to a winning side. To make more than two changes in a winning side just isn't Ken.

In any case we have opted for speed and from what I have seen the Optus deck is hard and fast so there is some logic in that.
