Yeah normally when this happened in previous years, you knew the team changes already. However, Martin, Reilly, Laird and Grigg are all listed as ins in addition to Otten and Porpso_O

Another advantage to having our own side. Can name these guys in the SANFL team and it does not stuff another SANFL side around.

I thought that too last week when I saw Grigg and Brown in there which is why I went nuts . I'm confident Crouch won't be dropped but Martin most certainly will seeing as he's last on the bench and did nothing last week. The only other player I can see making way is Reilly for either Shaw or Grigg. Hope it's not Shaw, I had high hopes for him but injured have caught up and I can't see a role in our side for him anymore.

Would you think this mean Reilly is an out for Lynch? Lynch to be played in that role.

Where did Lynch play last week in the Magoos/ He is a player who can play nearly anywhere. Played a bit across HB in a similar role to Reilly for Glenelg I believe.
Hopefully Grigg to that role

Surely Shaw & Martin are SANFL bound. Crouch & Lynch must be playing in the AFL. That leaves one of Reilly, Laird & Grigg to miss out - much to the surprise of nobody (I think we've all known that this was going to be the case). I'm guessing that Grigg will get to play in the SANFL this week.

Petrenko named on a wing at the moment.
He was never going to get dropped. I have no idea why people suggested that he would, if he wasn't dropped after his "efforts" against Sydney, he wasn't going to get dropped after a game he was decent in.

When is the club going to learn that Brent Reilly is slow as shit and weak as piss ! his kicking is vastly overrated in the way that for 7 beautiful kicks there are 3 massive turnovers . The most overrated player of the last 10 years !!!!

Closer to 7:1, which is probably better than the team average, and he's not even remotely close to the most overrated player (courtesy of shiny toyitis). One bad year does not a bad player make, especially when the year before it was exceptional.

How about we give him time to get back up to speed, having missed almost 12 months with that shoulder injury?

Will he return to his previous high standards? Possibly not, but he deserves the opportunity and he certainly doesn't deserve crap like this being written about him.

Yes but who else do we drop to get both Grigg and Lynch back in? Martin is the obvious first

Let's be honest though, if the coaches wanted Sando in the side and they needed to drop someone, apart from Martin, Reilly would most certainly be the next in line based on last weeks performances.

How could you could possibly represent the 'bad year' as the outlier in this circumstance?

Seriously...

Almost 12 months? He was injured in round 14 and played in round 2. Has your love of all things old distorted your sense of time?

Hiding behind the timing? He was dropped and the concerns about Grigg were justified.

Not hiding behind timing at all.

People were acting like idiots on here on Thursday before the final teams were announced.

And what did Noble actually say? All pregame stuff I was listening to suggested that his adductor was the reason he missed.

Last week Reilly had twice as many clangers as he did contested possessions.

Good Stat.

Whats more concerning and more accurately reflects the fact that we are 1-3.... your stat or the one below?

In his 3 games Reilly has more kicks (38) and less clangers (9) than our best player, future captain and golden boy Patrick Dangerfield has in 4 games (36 kicks and 12 Clangers)....

Reilly wasn't great against St.Kilda - but was nowhere near as bad as many on here bang on about.

You are spot on, we should move Danger to half back and move Reilly to the midfield to be tagged and smashed.
