Out: Hill, Pearce, Hinkley, Johnson

In: Mundy, Palmer, Kepler, Bucovaz

But we all know Harvey plays favourites, and therefore Johnson and Hill won't be going anywhere, and Palmer won't be seen in a Dockers guernsey ever again

Will Palmer be ready?

Sad to say but agreed with the dropping of Hill. Definitely agree with Hinkley out...surely his last game in the purple. Worst sub ever.

Got to tank now !!
Out Sandi, Pav, Fyfe.
In Griffen, Schammer, anyone

Coaching staff : on notice !!
If Harv's can get $600k somewhere else, good bloody luck.

No point having Hill in the team because Brady Rawlings will just murder him like he did last year.

We'll get creamed by Norf regardless of changes. But anyway, Hill should be sent back to the Joondies, seriously. I don't want him to turn into Danyle Pearce or Johnno.
Bring back anyone, even Schammster would put much greater effort.

Gee it's hard to pick a side. Roberton/Pitt/Crichton aren't ready and I've been underwhelmed by all 3, no one wants Schammer to get a run, and Hill, Pearce and Hinkley deserve to be dropped. Ideally we'd bring in a young bloke but most of them are either injured or aren't ready.

In - McPhee and Bollenhagen/Bucovaz (not sure on their form/fitness ?)
Out - Hinkley and Pearce (both should have their papers stamped IMO :()

Sub - Stephen Hill

Out: Hinkley, Pearce, Sandi, Hill
In: Houghton, Griffen, Bucovaz, Mcphee

Give the season up, see if houghton can show anything up forward for the last couple of matches

Out:
Hinkley, Pearce, Lower? is he injured?

In:

Mundy, McPhee, Bradley?

Starting to get close to our best team, just hope it's not to late...Please stop experimenting with positions - Pav should be at CHF Mayne is not a midfielder or tagger leave the back line alone. Forwards just need to start taking marks - applying pressure and kicking goals!!

FB: Faulks Silvagni Grover

HB: Ibbotson McPharlin Broughton

C: Fyfe Mzungu McPhee

HF: Mayne Pavlich Hill

FF: Johnson Clarke Ballantyne

Ruck: Sandilands Mundy Barlow

Bradley Crowley Suban
Sub: Duffield

Palmer and Kep will both still be injured I think.

MJ out ain't gonna happen no matter how much we might want it - and he was far from our worst today anyway.

Outs for me would be (and geez I'm gonna cop some flack for this one...):

OUT: Pav (surgery), Fyfe (surgery), Sandi (no point doing a re-injury, and why travel when 80-90% fit if we can't make finals?), and Ballas and Mayne, who I both reckon have some injury issues (and serious confidence problems). Finally, Hill also goes, needs a rest. I would leave all of them out for the rest of the year. I'd also leave Mundy out for the rest of the year.

IN: McPhee comes in, to make up for the stupidity of the act that led to his suspension by putting in 110% against Norf.

Also in comes Griffin, who I'd play deep forward as much as possible.

I'd also bring in JVB, Shep and Sibo to give them one last chance to show they are worth retaining (all 3 gorn IMHO).

The final in, and the one I want to see most of all, is Houghton to get a run.

If Lower doesn't come up, then hell lets give Schammer a final game.

While they were both appalling, Hinkley and Pearce and get three more games to prove they have are worth a spot on the list next year (both gorn IMHO).

Bucovaz just came off injured about 2 minutes ago.

Edit - Doesn't look too bad but is still limping.

Yep, Bucoo won't be right for next week sadly, hopefully he'll be right for rounds 23 and 24.

Totally agree - JA would be a nice in also but I don't think he is fit given the neck injury he copped in the WAFL.

Agreed on Houghton...

Is there anything to gain by playing mundy?

I wouldn't play him - downside risk far outweighs the benefit IMHO, and anyway we need to be making an assessment on guys like JVB and Hinkley much more than seeing an underdone Mundy prove he's good (which we already know!).

Faulks will probably be dropped because too many ppl here liked his game. Buco wont play again this year for similar reasons. Harvey doesn't rate Bradley despite him playing his best early this year. Johnson is undroppable as we have all learnt this year. Harvey is pig headed when it comes to selection

in: doesn't matter anymore

Hard to pick a side, but I think Mundy, Hill and Sandilands should sit the rest of the season out. Plus anyone else with niggles. Time to prepare for next season, this one is over.

Although it might depend on the Richmond vs Sydney game. I'd expect Sydney to crush the Tigers, but if Sydney lose then I'd say the club will cling to the faint hope they can sneak into the 8.

Sub - Stephen Hill

I like this.

Using Hill as a sub could change the dynamic of the team and certainly effect how teams play us.

While we're a chance of playing finals I see no point in making huge changes, there is littler difference drafting wise in finishing 9th/10th/11th. However making the finals two years in a row will do allot of the guys confidence and experience.

The more I think about it the selection policy this year has been beyond bizarre. Certainly seems to be playing favourites, which I thought went out the window with cuddles.
It would be interesting to know what goes on in the coaches box. Is Harves the sort of coach that takes suggestion or is it his way and his way only? Is it a coaching team or just the coach and bunch of other guys watching?

INS : McPhee and Mundy
OUTS: Hinkley and Pearce

*Hopefully Faulks doesn't pull up sore after his debut!!

I think we should start playing players in different positions to further their development, if you know what I mean.
