Out: Neade, Westhoff
In: Eddy/Howard, Hombsch

Trengove to play Westhoff's role, what ever the hell that is.

I just want to see what a Westhoff-less Port Adelaide looks like.

Trengove can't play Westhoffs role, doesn't be have the mobility or pace - Westhoff is at times essentially a 2M midfielder.

Trengove to CHB and Howard to CHF. Westhoff to play as 3rd tall, rotate into the middle and play across halfback when Trengove goes into the ruck

I remain amazed at Broadbent somehow avoiding all criticism in this thread.

Out: Broadbent (or Hartlett if injured), In: Hombsch (returning from injury). 2 KPD's won't cut it against West Coast, especially if they bring Lycett back.

Out: Neade, In: Eddy (would also accept Howard). Trengove can pull his weird key defender tagging shit on McGovern, and Eddy/Howard can keep Barrass occupied. That way those two won't be able to sit there all night cherry picking our forward entries like they did last time we played them. Impey lucky to avoid the chop ahead of Neade on form, but he's a more talented player and Subi should suit him.

Out: Westhoff, In: Atley. Whatever the **** role Westhoff has been asked to play over this year hasn't worked, and his lack of urgency over the last couple of weeks has been glaring. With the other changes bringing in Hombsch and Eddy to give us some proper structure, we can afford to lose Westhoff's height, not that he ever uses it anyway. Ken, grow some balls, tear up a gold pass and give a spot to a hungry kid with a clearly defined role as a midfield extractor rather than pencilling in Westhoff's name every week just because he was good for you in 2014.

You are so right on Broady, he has a wonderful kick and we rarely see it and doesn't seem to do a lot through a game these days, he's like an auto in every week.

I honestly don't care who goes out, half the team could be candidates, just give me Eddy or Dougs as an in.

Their tall backs have killed us every time we've played them in recent years. Just picked off marks at will. A strong lead up tall will give them something else to think about.

Atley to centre, release Wingard forward, Eddy or Howard to straighten us up. Personally Eddy has consistent runs on the board (far greater than White) so he is the obvious inclusion whether Howard is the future or not. Monfries also has to come into consideration, we have options. Ken and Co need to get off there collective 'she'll be right attitude' because it's gone on too long, we are now labelled 'pretenders', and fairly so. i still think we are on the right track, but poor kicking for goal has gone on all year, it's the coaches fault no personal changes have been made to fix this properly, now is the time.

Just saw on the AFL player ratings twitter that Westhoff is in the team of the year playing on the wing. He's a 2 metre midfielder.

Broadbent and Pittard deserve to be dropped.

Trengove IS NOT A FORWARD.

Reckon Westy is a bit harshly judged. His performance should be a reflection more on the coaches IMO.

Until we recruit an effective small crumbing forward, Wingard has to play forward.

Which is why i thing Atley is ready and should play... frees up Chad to play forward

Out: Neade, hartlett(if injured)
In: Dougal, Atley(it's time, surely. 13 tackles hahaha)

i forgot about Hombsch. yeah i dunno who else out. but Dougal has to come in, i can't watch us lose for a 4th time in a row to the eagles by continuously by bombing it in to intercept marking eagles defenders. doogz is the perfect wild card option up there.

defence doing well so Hombsch will come back in. mids doing well so we add a mid. forward line failing so we probably make no change. Our selection policy

Impey has been horrendous in any sort of pressure game, & probably deserves the boot for a week of two. but if the guy actually realises his assets in a game with high intensity, he could be very useful this week. but you just know it's going to be another 9 disposal, 0 goal 1 point anonymous game, with a couple of average runs into dead ends leading to a mongrel punt into the forward line with a gassed robbie gray chasing a loose ball against brad sheppard & barrass

got the gauld up to watch the replay last night
Gee Houston chickened out of a couple of contests - watching it live I thought he was really good
Pittard was better than what I saw live
And I actually reckon Trengove did a pretty reasonable job on Rance - particularly just before half time. But again watching live I was completely frustrated

Certainly did, many a half kinda effort when body was required.

I like him. Love his 3rd man up marking, composed and lovely kick, but there's a glaring weakness that needs to be addressed asap.

Without the intent or desire to do the hard stuff he won't make it.

By auto you mean consistent, there are bigger problems in this team then Broady.
Yes there are but what happens is Ken does not drop an out of form player, he keeps the faith and before you no it we have 5 - 6 out of form players, to many to drop in hit. Agreed as far Broadbent he has at least shown some consistency but now his form has slipped a little but like you say we have so many players with poor form now, a player like Broadbent will be over looked because of all of our other issues, in particular our inaccuracy up forward. In other words the calls that should be made are not, so we end up with many issues at one time.
