Of your 847 posts to date, how many do you reckon are taking pot shots at Campbell Chesser?

I reckon it’d be over 800.

“We need you to work on parts of your game Campbell”
“Like what”
“Running in a straight line for one”

I mean cmon. I believe that’s no more than buying what’s being sold. The club do push this narrative for sure but deep down we all know no one goes to the match committee table and is like “yeah he ran okay so I think we should select him”. A bit more to it than this. He can have running patterns that look like a combination of Mosart and Usain Bolt but until he learns how to get to contests and impact them it’s just hyperbole fluff
Ken totally agree, get to contests and not running around them.

I’m interested to see if you go to any other board if anyone else is talking about running patterns… Just a us thing for sure

In fact can someone show me a draft report or the like where players are selected cos of running patterns ? Is it a measurement at the draft combine ? When we drafted Reid did we confirm his running patterns were okay?

I’d hope they analyse a little more than just how many contests or how many km’s.

How many times is he getting to good spots but not used, how is he on defence, is/was the game played majority his side or not and what was his impact vs that of his direct opponent.

A solid game from Moraes who spent more time on ball than he has for most of the season and responded by finding a stack of the footy. He ran all game and linked the play well with hands. His kicking was a bit of a lottery, some nice accurate passes and some sprayed.

1) the WAFL team is in a much better position than last year or the years before that both on an off- field. The issues were/are around the allowances by the league which they have acknowledged will change going forward.
2) WC injuries are no worse than any other club.
3) WC fitness levels are clearly better than in previous years - players themselves and football pundits acknowledges this.
4) yes we did try for Curtin and Robertson but not to the level you may suggest I.e. it was NOT a direct F1 for the pick that Curtin went at - there were other picks involved.

No disrespect but I'm picturing you as a 16 or 17 year old kid who talks first and thinks second. Because most of your posts are knee jerk, instant gratification, attention seeking dribble and you have the hide to accuse me of little substance.

My main takeaway from this is that it wasn’t a straight offer of our F1 for the pick to get Curtin

GWS not accepting our trade makes a bit more sense now it wasn’t a direct swap

Poor man's Tsatas??
Similar frame and movement but a few differences.

Tsatas is becoming a real tough inside mid, which he's going to need to be because his kicking has regressed from when he was a junior and is a real mess right now.

Moraes is more outside and has a better tank. Can be dangerous in the forward line, which I wouldnt have said for Tsatas.

We're likely to finish second bottom, we march Baker to the PSD if Richmond are hell bent on a first rounder.
We have to play hard ball.
I don't think there's any chance we finish bottom 2. Richmond and North look like locks for those spots. Hawks, Saints and us will be the next three and I suspect it will be us that ends up 5th last.

I always though Tsatas needed to slow down on his last few steps before kicking, he'd take off at break neck speed and kick at that high speed. Most good players slow right down just before they kick, he doesn't. This led to erratic kicking at best.

The club is wise and well led. I am confident that we will balance the build between best drafting and wise trading/recruiting. It's a tricky balance.

North stand out as a team with good 18 year olds and little quality above that. The AFL should have insisted that their charity picks were all used on trading in mature players, for their own good.

We made the offer to multiple teams and multiple times both pre and post draft. BOND just thinks last offer made is the only one that counts

Hewett had a pre-existing injury from his draft year that the club didn’t know about becuase clubs don’t do draftee medicals.

His injury was managed almost exactly the same way Finn Callaghan’s was. He rested, was sent to the same specialist, had the same surgery.

It wasn’t mismanaged. It was handled in a standard fashion.
So us following the exact same path that GWS failed at the year prior is seen as a success? It’s more my point. We took the cheap nasty way that clubs with no money take as opppsed to go to someone proven and successful in the field.

He gets there
Just late or doesn't impact

No response to the gifting of games...and maths not a strong point lol

Because I’ve debated “the gifting of games” with you in one of your 500 earlier instances of criticising Chesser.

Just because you want to make the exact same point over and over and over and over and over and over and over doesn’t make it compulsory for everyone else to join in again and again and again and again and again and again.

Yeh nah.

The foot surgeon in Melbourne that they both consulted with is the best in his field which is why every club uses him for foot ankle injuries. There are just a few joint specialists that see most of the players of most of the teams. Shoulder - one. Knee - one. Little do you realise the amount of interstate players that fly into Melbourne for these consults/interventions.

The club physicians control the management of the player, but when surgery is an option these are the go to drs. The club dr is often in the surgery with that specialist and is then responsible for the player post op.
