Strange that the VAR would spend a ton of time (correctly) awarding the penalty. But then miss the encroachment on the saved penalty

What was veart thinking. As soon as mauk went off we lost our energiser and architect. Too many young players in the middle. Also surprised clough benched. Normally don’t mind changes but these two were in fine form

He is a better coach than Nicks, but this was a dumb decision.
