Feb 20.

Wonder whether we'll be looking at getting as good a squad onto the paark for this one, or hold that idea back for the start of The Marsh series?

We will name a strong squad.

But there will be a heavy focus on managing minutes, workload and rotations.

From the AFL website:

ADDITIONAL PRE-SEASON HITOUTS CONFIRMED
Geelong v Collingwood – Thursday February 13 – GMHBA Stadium – TBC
Gold Coast v Brisbane – 7pm, Saturday February 15 – Metricon Stadium – 7pm – 4x25min
Carlton v Collingwood – 4pm, Thursday February 20 – IKON Park – 6x25min
Melbourne v Essendon – Friday February 21 – Casey Fields – TBC
North Melbourne v Melbourne - 1.10pm, Friday February 28 – Arden Street Oval
Hawthorn v St Kilda – 5pm, Friday February 28 – Morwell – 4x25min
Adelaide v Port Adelaide – 12pm, Saturday February 29 – Thebarton Oval – 4x25min

I'm assuming the 6 x 25 minute sessions is a typo. If not, means there's more footy for us :)

Any update on the time for the Geelong v Pies practice next Friday 13th? I'm trying to plan my day off.

Carlton co-captain Sam Docherty will make his long-awaited return for the Blues in a practice match against Collingwood at Ikon Park on Thursday night after he missed two consecutive seasons due to two knee reconstructions.

Carlton coach David Teague confirmed the All-Australian defender would be in action in the scratch match after an outstanding pre-season that has seen him return an even better athlete than he was before his first knee injury in November 2017.
