No doubt we are carrying him to the milestone but if any of our players were in the same situation we would be doing the same thing
The fact he is indigenous has nothing to do with it
If you read his thread this is what some posters have implied. The reality is indigenous has nothing to do with it, but when he runs out for his 300th I reckon it will be the first thing mentioned by the club and then by BT on channel 7. Mark my words.

Would of still cost a list spot that we might of earmarked on using one draft picks on and potentially left us with nothing at all

He was reported to be waiting for the novax so maybe the club didn’t want to risk him not being able to train during the pre season

We simply don’t have all the information and massive amounts of variables so it makes the whole exercise pointless
is that a typo? NOVAX OR NOVAK?

Someone's gotta defend my opinion here & unfotunately you all have purchased so many shares in each others arsehole space, you are unable to actually acknowledge when someone was right & had a very valid point. Plus everyone here is so desperate to keep the echo going, that you are writing post implying my intent & suggesting I didn't say things - that i clearly did.

I mean, all i did was spend 10 minutes searching my previous post and was able to say " EAD, this is EXACTLY what i said, when i said it". I have also gone to lengths to breakdown stats on all our games this season, make polls for other neutral supporters to pass on their unbiased feedback - i don't post here all the time but when i do, i dont fu** about.

And that there is the crux of it - for all the time so many of you spend here - far far far more time then I do, you are all mostly lazy AF. You actually spend no time looking over stats trying to breakdown why our defence is so porous despite, apparently, everyone playing well - you spend no time listening to other peoples intel if it possibly contradicts you or your mates previous opinions etc - you just want to engage in an echo chamber of ""look how smart we are!" without ever actually pulling out one feasible point of data or proof that re-confirms what you say. Then, when all else fails you just try to delegitimise my effort by denying thats what i said, imply my intentions & imply im a Narcissist.

The reality is, i am a sports fan who likes to deconstruct the game & figure out what is actually going wrong. Unfortunately AFL media no longer does this, so instead of bitching about it - i do it myself. Be it AFL or the NBA, i find breaking the game down to see it a bit deeper, be it on the field or off - a hell of a lot of fun. Far more fun than some horseshit like Supercoach etc

JG is another who rarely, if ever, gets dropped.
i mentioned it before and i'm a firm believer in graham has heaps to offer..... but a starting mid=no, a winger=no, back flanker=no, pressure forward who will kick 1 or 2 a game like george=no.

however when in good touch Graham is in our best team and is very worthy as 22nd pick on the bench with dimma giving him an important role/task as the game unfolds to get his gut running, give the mids a breather on the pine, and his spearing passes and link up game going..... to get the richmond game style back and flowing on our terms to wear down the opposition into the ground.

he is a bit off at the moment.

Watching the game, I thought we were getting a really good run with the umpires but then realised the free kicks were essentially even and what I was experiencing is what any team should expect any week.......
Precisely my point , I’m surprised dimma didn’t get emotional about it in the presser

end of the day this is all we want...umps still managed to make a meal out of it tho as lynch got a couple of soft ones but so did kennedy.

our boys should have been pinged 2-3 times but then again we wern't rewarded for a few of ours.

a few sneaky holds in ball ups were paid and a few were not.

the one they gotta fix is the claytons free kick....any given game 5 or 6 times footballers are bamboozled when the whistle blows and wonder if they are getting a free or they have just given one away. :D

They will and it’s wrong. Why can’t we all just be proud to be Australian. Sick of all this woke crap.

afl wonders why theres no umps... we [well not me cos i'm wise] all blame the poor campaigners [thats umps] for the debacle of modern football BUT...

the BEST way to get umps back in the gaym [whoooaa here come the pc fukn popo] is to STOP ******* WITH THE RULES YOU ******* MEGALOMANIACAL IDIOTS.

It was nice that the umpires didn’t blow the whistle for every little infringements.

Amon the fence with Ross... tries hard, gets it, average disposal, average pace, average size, not sure how good he is going to be.
IMO the issue with Ross is his decision making, not his skills per se. He just seems to always make bad decisions, often by hand balling to someone under huge pressure. I don’t think that’s going to improve. I don’t think he should be part of our future plans.

He looks like a bunny in the headlights, he looks self-conscious playing.

Ross, Taz and Miller are back-ups.
Stack has work to do too.
In: Cotchin, Martin.
Out: Stack, Prestia if injured, Ross.
If Prestia is fit, Riley as injury sub.

So what and who cares?
Exactly, but i just entered into a discussion where it appeared that some posters did care. Please follow the discussion before you start laying the boots in. Apparently you also care as you would have remained silent. First lesson to good communication is having the ability to comprehend and you've let yourself down badly in that department.

In a bruise free game umpires generally make less errors as obviously there's less heated contests. It's those 50-50 games where everything is on the line that they err more.

Nearly every marking contest now there’s a free called. It’s almost like the AFL don’t want a pack forming for a marking contest.

The game is very hard to watch right now. I haven’t been to a game live this year which is a first. I just can’t be bothered making the effort when the game is in this state.

I'm coming to Melbourne next week and will go to the Hawthorn game while I'm there. I'm looking forward to it but not as much as normal due to the incessant rule changes by those clueless, arrogant cnuts at AFL house.
