will be out in a couple of hours... some early indications that big Zac Clarke might get a debut this week - he travelled with the main group today as well as Peake and Hinkley. Ballantyne, Des Headland, Michael Walters, Adam Campbell and Kepler Bradley were notable absentees.

hmmm.. that is interesting. I'll hazard a guess and say some of those players might have to pass a final fitness test today before flying over this evening??

Geez I hope Balla is named....

Wow, that's a bit of a surprise seeing Zac getting a gig.

As for the absentees, well that really isn't such a shock as I'm pretty sure they will be having tests to see if they are fit and will be flown over tonight. Expect to see one of Ballantyne/Headland and Campbell/Bradley in the team by Saturday.

My prediction is Ballantyne and if fit Headland would be the ideal choice, but seeing as they are expecting one of them to be unfit (Des) they will go for a taller option out of the other two. Then again, now that I think of it, Kiwi/Keps are out of the team due to Clarke, so maybe it's just a test for Balla and Des to see if they pull up.

Bloody hell, Balla better come in sometime soon.

I agree, I hope its this weekend because then i actually get to watch my Buddy Debut!!

Interesting selection if Clarke plays, Maybe

Out: Bradley, Pearce
IN: Clarke, Ballantyne

That would be good :)

Clarke traveling doesn't necessarily mean he will play. A lot of the first year players travel with the team just for the experience

How is Collingwoods ruck dept. heading into this match??

Don't they have Fraser and Wood?

I would suggest if Clarke plays it would be because they want Sandi to play Foward and stretch their Defense, while having someone who actually knows how to ruck (Clarke) around the ground at the stoppages.

As i said maybe Clarke instead of Bradley for this match :thumbsu:

He has some aggression already. Once he has the body and he really develops physically, when he matches that with his aggression we think he's going to be a pretty imposing player

Ha Ha thats awesome, has anyone who has seen him live seen his Aggression?

Mark Harvey confirmed on the flight over to Melbourne that Zac Clarke & Balla will both definitely be playing tomorrow.

This seems as good a match as any for Clarke to debut. He won't have the luxury of coming up against two rake-thin ruckmen like Fraser and Wood very often. And they're probably two of the softest ruckmen going around too.

The match committee are probably thinking it's a perfect opportunity to expose him to the AFL without being monstered by some behemoth. I'd put money on him playing.

No, a Freo Harbour Master friend did who was on the flight and knows Harvey. If neither play, I'm happy to be banned for 3 months or longer...

I'm just asking the question mate and i'd be more than happy if you were right and both Clarke and Ballantyne play :thumbsu:

Interesting Medhurst still isn't in, Dave is wrong again, Poor bloke :)

That's also interesting that Cameron Wood was dropped.
