Agreed. Very awkward and seems pretty indulgent and disrespectful to the young kids on the scorps list. Young Tyler is a massive way off earning that spot in the scorps team. He's been playing development league at sandy and then bobs up at casey in the 23rd Man spot. Should be sticking with the zebras. Watched Tyler last week. He's a long way off being ready for a rookie contract.

Be interesting to know what VFL watchers think

Pretty indulgent IMO. awkward position for both Tyler and his old man. If I was Tyler id want to be making my name away from the apron strings of my old man.

Maybe we can Scully him and sign up his Dad in the back office once his coaching days are up

King has kicked a couple and from what i've read/stats i've seen this year, he generally seems to kick straight? When you take into account the conditions they play in at some of the VFL grounds this is really good news. A lot of 200cm players are horrendous kicks.

We lost by 4 goals - I only stayed for 3 and a bit quarters but some good signs.

I think Salem got through unscathed on limited game time.

Riley and Newton were solid and did their jobs generally.

Mitch White did some really nice things, kicked a couple of great goals in blustery conditions.

King competed well, took some nice contested grabs and has great skills for a kid his size.

Toump had a head knock and played a little under a half.

McKenzie is the Joel 'Duck' Selwood of the VFL.

Yeah but can you picture the amount of handball receives he would have got off Bail, Jones, Terlich and Jordie?! They would have been spoon feeding him like it was going out of fashion
