Are you suggesting he told the mids not to play well? But Taylor didn’t understand the instructions?

Sometimes the opposition play well.

Pity and great shame.
The sycophants in this thread can't have it both ways. Spend half your time fawning over our awesome midfielders and the other half sticking up for the coaches when that same awesome midfield gets comprehensively outrun and outplayed by a midfield that on paper is outclassed. Which one is it? It can't be both!

'sometimes the opposition play well' = defeatism.

What we thinking on this one?
Shouldn't be expensive, but very injury prone. Quite a good KPP when fit, but with Moore/Reid already on the list, its risky to have another injury prone defender.

Afl trade whisperer is saying Scully is interested in moving back to Melbourne (the city, not the club) any takers?

In a heartbeat. Not sure we've got anything to get that deal done though.

If true thanks Langdon for increasing your trade value significantly during the finals series.

Another Coll poster on the Draft forum on the main board, and in the LANDGON thread, says interest from Freo is wrong, and that we are actually talking to his brother ED.

Can anyone confirm our OFFICIAL interest in Ed Langdon.

Lol no it wasn't, probably his best season in 3 years. Still the guy I prefer to have the ball when the pressure is high. 15 brownlow votes probably disagrees wirh you too.

The Brownlow count had Brayshaw right at the top. Pendles is a great player but this was not anywhere near his best year. He's usually one touch and evasive, but he got caught out a few times this year, fumbled a bit and sprayed his kicks. I'm not suggesting it's terminal, it may be temporary or part of a slow decline, but the eyeball test shows it wasn't his best year.

No one said it was his best year

Would do it in a heart beat and wouldn't cost that much trade wise either......is it a back for if the May trade falls through or is gunna cost us too much?

Or are we going all out to boost our defence and maybe swing Moore back fwd, which would fix the gaping whole we have up front.

Maintained same averages over the season whilst other mids stepped up, with his best clearances numbers in at least 4 years. Amazing what you can learn from statistics.

Even more amazing what you can learn when you actually watch football instead of just regurgitating stats
