What ever her character , to finish all this off once and for all, 17 to 18 yo, she is a child and lots of posters are probably around the same age or a bit older or younger but in that group.
The fact is her dealings, after the photo rubbish, with older people, probably mostly blokes who should know better, is where she has been led further down the wrong track. Whether she knew where she was going or not doesn't matter.
Her life experience is very small, is she street smart, how the hell would any one know. But even if she is. The law should condemn, as should the players association (of gutless wonders), and Nixons family and Galbally and any one who's witnessed young people fall into a bad situation after being led on and then kicked in the teeth by people she probably thought the world of. Thats the point.
Until the AFL absolutely with gusto beat the living garbage out of bad behavior by sporting people, players or admin or agents this will keep happening.
Its the nature of the world of celebrity and its filthy. We are supposed to look up to sports heros but many can't handle the hieght.
Now these threads and posts should finish and I hope Nixon gets clobbered for the cowardly bullduster that he is , if the girl has her revenge for being put down to a level where half the footy world thinks she's a lowlife then good on her . She's just a kid, a fan, and, not there for the pleasure of 5 second heros'. Have a look at the young man who flew back from Afghanistan yesterday, he's a lifetime hero, not some superstar bleeding footballer.
Don't get me wrong, I love the footy and the players, its just the mongrel ones I have no time for.

The law is as it is written and interpreted. It does not condemn prior to sentencing.
The AFLPA have to consider all aspects of the law before they start condemning.

If people are trapped inside a burning building time is of the essence.
If children are living with an abusive person time is of the essence.
Time is not of the essence here. It is important to do it right.

This story originally broke involving "the girl"* and Gilbert.
Then the media sort of played on the "Fact -Lol " that she had taken the nude photo's of Nick Riewoldt.

But now the subject matter is "Ricky Nixon" to which the majority of Australia, and even Victoria, would say "Who".

Nixon is not a big name, despite how big he is in the industry, and I get the impression the story is dying out simply because he's not a big media name.

At the time Up the duffy was mouthing off on formspring that "Beams was going to cop it tomorrow" or something along those lines.

It probably was her trying to keep herself relevant. I think She saw the new reports on the rape accusations and took that as Dane cheating on her slurry arse. She thought, Hmm,. Rape accusation gets attention and shows dane what for.

All of this ignores the fact that the investigation is about the fitness of Ricky Nixon to hold a license and has absolutely nought to do with St Kilda per se. As such, even if the investigation concluded that St Kilda football club really is a club of canonised saints there is no conflict of interest because there is no brief to investigate St Kilda football club.

You can huff and puff all you like but unless there is a valid link between Galbally and Ricky Nixon or between Galbally and the girl there is no valid reason to suggest any conflict.

Personally I feel that these players have been betrayed by Nixon. If the affair began prior to the conclusion of the mediation, Nixon's role in the mediation may have been compromised, and he may have been putting his personal life ahead of the best interests of his clients.
This could be considered grounds for deregistration.

I agree & this is the entire point of the investigation. Not any moral rubbish, but if Nixon by becoming involved with her harmed his clients interests.

On the surface it seems like a dirty old man has corrupted a young child.

Underneath it all we have, said "child" stating that she seduced him with a motive of premeditated revenge.
We have a newspaper journalist and his organisation, who knew about it for a long time, allowing it all to continue until he got the "good dirt".
If Nixon is guilty of any crimes against her, the Media that were in the know certainly are complicit.

( If they knew that someone was going to take out a "hit" would the HUN a) inform the police so that the murder didn't happen, or b) try to film the action? I'm not sure I know the answer to this question ).
