Freo will know when he’s hitting the markers to know he’ll be able to not only run out a game of AFL, but make a mark
Past years he would have played already and set him up for failure

I also think being groomed to be Pavs replacement also had an effect on Tabs developmentTabs got games way too early in the past and would have done alot better building at Peel.

Yep, and also I think one thing people overlook is the amount of development that goes on at training too. Even if Amiss plays WAFL all year he'll still be participating in match sim drills multiple times a week at training against seasoned AFL players.I will be absolutely comfortable with him playing zero games this year at AFL level, even if he continues at 3 goals a game at WAFL level.
Going a couple of rounds against Logue, Pearce or Cox would be the best test any AFL KPF would come up against at the moment. In fact, I'd bet the selection committee weight performances in training a lot higher than people would expect when it comes to team selection too.
Absolutely. He will develop faster training against one of the best defences in the AFL than he will playing against WAFL defenders.Going a couple of rounds against Logue, Pearce or Cox would be the best test any AFL KPF would come up against at the moment.
And they each defend differently. Then Ryan says hi. Brilliant.Absolutely. He will develop faster training against one of the best defences in the AFL than he will playing against WAFL defenders.
So what quarter do we expect him to break Coleman's record in? 2nd? 3rd?Congratulations Jye. Enjoy!
A Friday night debut!
There’s a forecast for heavy traffic on the Bussell Highway this Friday nightwww.fremantlefc.com.au
Would probably depend on how he pulls up. I'm positive a forwardline of Lobb, Amiss and Treacy can workJye is debuting earlier than what Freo would have preferred methinks but C19 has forced their hand.
It will be interesting if he kicks 3 or 4 on Friday night. Would he stay in?
I’m thinking more:I hope Huddo commentates, Jye's first goal/shot at goal is a semi difficult one and Huddo says something like "he won't amiss from there annnnnd he doesn't"
Regularly see Andy and Caleb posting positive stuff about their team mates. Great to see from 2 of our young leaders
