Mainly here so we can enjoy the LOLs afterwards at the end of 2023, but also an interesting discussion point.

I’m in genuine two minds and can’t call it, but who do you see finishing higher in 2023?

Who is positioned better from a list/team perspective?

Let the games begin…

Mod Note: This is a thread for BANTER and giving and taking a bit of the mickey. Enter at your own risk!
However this does NOT mean name calling, personal abuse, injury trolling, swearing or gifs/memes with swear words in them. Keep it clean and above the belt.
Thank you.

I’m just curious. How many times have Collingwood beaten Carlton in a Grand Final?
Just think, if Carlton continue to avoid playing in Grand Finals for another 87 years in the same way as they have for all of this century, you'll be able to brag about it being 200 years since Collingwood have beaten Carlton in a Grand Final!

Won't that be a buzz for you?

Ladder or last game, which do you prefer?
Yeah, Carlton on the back of wins against a struggling Brisbane and two teams who are favoured to finished in the bottom 4, and a win against Collingwood in a dead rubber last year after Collingwood had locked away their top 2 spot by round 18 (though I thought we weren't allowed to discuss 2023?), have got it all over the reigning premiers, despite not having genuinely contended for a flag for nearing a quarter of a century.

You really got us there!

You’ve won one game against a struggling Brisbane.

That's correct. We're not the one's kidding ourselves about where we're at in 2024?

But I guess it is March, one of the 8 or 9 months of the year where Carlton supporters do their best work (excluding July, August and September).
Who’s kidding themselves? It’s 3-0 and 1-3. Facts.

We keep turning up, where have you been?

In the time since you last played in a Grand Final (1999) we’ve played in six.
