Yes, that's what happens with the commercial $1.90 market (where an even money match is $1.90). It does make the math a bit harder (I think if collingwood are an 85% chance to win, the return offered for a collingwood bet would be more along the $1.10-1.12 for the commercial market)
What other market are we talking about here other than what is put up by sports betting agencies ?

Can you offer me 7/1 then. Or are imagining those odds for Carlton when they play the pies ? I will take it as imagining once again shooting from your big mouth about probability and getting stuck with no where to go
No thanks.

I'll just load up on Collingwood for the game in the knowledge they will be well over the odds in that match.

Nah, it's just a classic example there are one set of rules for some players, and a different set of rules for others.
Ha ha ha, we've been rubbish for nearly two and a half decades now we've come good it's the umpires fault, schoolyard talk.

Talking about the hypothetical one (to simplify the maths) - there may be a calculator out there which does the commercial one but I haven’t found it.

I would highly doubt that Collingwood would be $1.15 if they are an 85% chance to win on the commercial market (that would be overs)

So you actually acknowledge that the professional agencies will have a market totally different to the one you posted earlier - congratulations
Ah now I see where he going, it was in response to you having Carlton at 2.85 so he would think Collingwood are overs with an 85% chance to win.

Given Carlton have won 2 of their last 17 games against Collingwood that haven't been dead rubbers or crowdless COVID games, I may have slightly understated Collingwood's winning probability.

Love it, especially when you get so salty people bringing up the past in threads like this, 2024

6 decades is a great timeline

GWS are better than both, as are Melbourne if they kick straight.
Debatable.

I think it’s pretty dead even between Carlton, GWS, Sydney and Melbourne atm and I think most (real) neutrals would agree..

However I’m very happy considering the evenness how lucky we are to have two generational key forwards as a point of difference…

You ever been with a really attractive woman, like way out of your league, and you just get a little too carried away, and it all ends just way too prematurely..?

I know the answer is no, but just pretend. Nothing to be ashamed of. Happens to the best of us.

Anyway what happens next is you turn up like a stallion second time around and absolutely dominate.

This season has that kind of feeling about it for Carlton.. I’m talking 25-0 kind of stuff..

Surely you are joking.

I’m guessing you meant 26-0
