I’m in genuine two minds and can’t call it, but who do you see finishing higher in 2023?

Who is positioned better from a list/team perspective?

Pies were extremely unconvincing tonight. GWS and Sydney look 5-6 goals better than them. Dees, Port, Blues and Saints look comfortably better too, turnovers and contest work was pretty poor for most of the night.

Hipwood, Cameron and Daniher put in all time stinkers which ultimately threw away any hope the Lions had despite their midfield getting on top

What relevance does how they played today or against Freo have for how they played against us? Team performance varies every week and especially after a bye where we know teams generally have poor records.

Yep, they are average at the moment.

We both got them at the right time.

So suggest you reserve your judgement about Carlton until they start playing some decent teams.

We can only get better - still 2 & 0 though.

Not too fussed, everything we've seen so far this year has me thinking the Pies will miss or scrape into the 8 and be a non issue for the top teams. We're just hoping once we've got our full squad back in action that we're in that mix

But that’s the only card Collingwood has - waiting for the other team to wilt.
