Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
It looks likely McGovern will miss judging by the footage here. No McGovern, Shuey, Yeo and Ryan seems likely. Kennedy seems 50/50 by reports. Not sure McGovern is a certainty to miss is he? Where’d you hear that?
They reckon Hurn and Kennedy will be back.

I get your point but Kennedy is one of the best forwards in the modern game vs a rookie forward playing as a defender.... not pretty. Would be a good learning for Treacy as a forward though. We have a week of training to turn Treacy into a defender
Random thought really, but if Kennedy is back and Cox is out, our defence lacks a bit...,,,,Treacy would at least add some physical pressure on someone like Allen or the bloke with the odd looking mullet....
The arguments to keep Treacy in are getting flimsy, the level looks above him right now so he needs to find form at Peel. We have a readymade player in Sturt who should be in our best forward lineup, so it’s a no brainer.
Duman for Cox makes sense.
And Tucker is an upgrade on Crowden but it may be a week early.
Watson was one of the emergencies, which makes me think he will be preferred to Duman (I personally prefer Duman). The arguments to keep Treacy in are getting flimsy, the level looks above him right now so he needs to find form at Peel. I think the question is whether the same can be achieved with Sturt, plus a bit of goal kicking.I’m 50/50 on Treacy & obviously the coaches will know far more than us as to whether he is playing his role.
But one thing is for sure, Tabs is having more 1v1 contests than he ever has before & a part of that is Treacy leading at the ball & leaving space behind. Previously Lobb & Tabs have been very similar in wanting the long kick in & bringing both defenders to the contest.
The separation between our forwards is the best it’s been in years.
Our forward line has functioned so much better with Treacy in the team - he ain't going anywhere. A bit like Fyfe when the goals start flowing for him, we will all see why he adds so much more to the team than throwing in another smaller midfielder
This is our best chance to beat those bastards. We should kill them through the middle. I wouldn't mind a zero crowd this week, the ferals can stay home.
No changes unless Cox is injured. He had a wry smile on his face after the game so I'm thinking he is fine![]()

Numerous times tonight treacy drew the defence away from Tabs. Forward line works it’s best in years.
treacy stays.
Lobb was ok. He’s been out with injury and this week was much better in the ruck. He is far better than Meek, and we need two rucks. Just don’t play him thinking he is a goal kicking forward. He is a forward marking target and he has been decent kicking into the 50. From memory both Taberner and Treacy dropped marks from him.Yep that's what im thinking too. Lobb should be pn thin ice too, but in saying that he could be swung in the backline. If Logue plays deep and Lobb takes the CHF..it might be the shift that keeps him in the 22 over Meek.
