Really bad loss for Collingwood. Thought they should’ve won by 3 goals or so but didn’t take their chances and credit to Geelong they kept sticking around and were easily better in the last 5 minutes when the game was there to be won.

Neither side have an easy draw coming up so it’s a big win to get momentum rolling.

I told you we were a chance to lose - Geelong are a bit of a bogey side for us. Not a good record first game of the season either.
Oh well 2/2 in my footy tips - yes I tipped against my own side as my smokey for the round.

Losing to a side that's playing four guys in their first game is a really bad result.
Bit of soul-searching required by Collingwood.

All 4 of those guys earnt their spot and weren't out of place. Constable should have played last year. It's why I was confident of winning. We're picking players on merit and finally had the balls to omit Henderson.
