We can't even kick for ****'s sake. Definitely not top eight. Hoe about Bottom 4. That is about it. We have a coach that won't admit when he is wrong, McCartin. We have a teams that is not using their skills. A Chad who is all but checked out. Lots of others who are resting on reputation. We have players who are playing for stats only. We have become a selfish, it's all aboutr ME team. We need to get these blokes to play for each other again. I'm not sure about Cox. His decision making at the selection table is baffling, and quite frankly, underwhelming. He needs to find and identity soon or we are going to flounder big time. He doesn't have a game plan different to Horse. That is a huge problem. He seemed to have a point of difference in the two matches we won and even in the ones we lost. We played well. But in the last two games we have played badly, coughed up the ball. Players seem lost as to what to do. They are not moving, are static. We just bomb down the line then, which is exactly what the opposition want us to do.

You have established this in what ? 6 weeks ? I agree McCartin should be back but ffs the man is at least trying to inject some impetus into our popgun attack. Amartey is a croc, McClean moves like the USS Enterprise trying to enter Port Phillip Bay and McDonald has not featured. Hayward all over the shop and Papley Absent. Who is taking a contested mark or Kicking 5-6 for us ? I am not sure about Cox by any means but he needs time and time with a healthy list. Your other points in the post are valid. Warner is taking the piss. If I hear one more time he is going to sign I will spew up. He is hedging his bets. Anyone worth their salt who supposedly loves the club would sign now while we are struggling to inject some life into the place and have some sort of positive impact on the side. At the moment he is having none from a performance perspective but plenty from a distraction point of view. It will be only one more shit game from him and a loss from Us and the media will start the Circus.

McCartin playing so badly is all on Cox. It was Cox's decision to send him forward. It has been an abject failure. Why? Because McCartin plays back shoulder. You can't play back shoulder as a forward. You have to play in front or run back to goal. He has no forward craft. Put him back where he belongs. So, he let one get through. He is probably thoroughly confused at this time.

Cox gets things wrong but won't admit it. This is not a good sign. I think the players know he had it wrong too. That does not inspire confidence in the players.

How the **** we only lost that by 8 points. We were horrendous but we all know the level we need to be at. Yet we were still only 8 points off. A bit short of it at the moment. If we can go up a level we'd be at the pointy end.

We should have won it. 13 shots to 3 in the last and they kick 3 goals, we kick 5.8. We should have won by 4 or 5. Ten scoring shots more.

My memory serves me but when Silvagni had a small role with us early 2000’s one of the things he implemented was when LRT marked the ball he was to give a quick handball off, wasnt a knock on LRT but helped structurally

For me I would get Gus back in the team, and say mate, get in hard & tough extract the ball, but you HB off to the outside, Heeney, Chad ect will be on the ready, these guys need to be our secondary in our string of disposals, Rowy ect providing the “legal” blocks to get these guys out & clean

But Gus in & under shooting out HB only, normally Id say Taylor A but not avail and perfect opportunity to see if he can make it

I think he over did it. Therev were leads. He ignored them all. The first one yes. Then in the last twice when he had alternatives. He had Francis leading and ignored him. I like to see him power away too but after missing a few it might have been better to lay it off to a player closer to goal. I know, the ball hit the post.

I want Blakey in the mids. Big, tall, strong. He will be our Bont.

I know Francis had a good game, but he did almighty good to provide an option in the second quarter when he wasn't substituted on until the third quarter....

I still remember the early 90’s when we lost 26 games straight, yes it is frustrating seeing our team struggle so much this year after what was some of the most exciting our team played last year, only to fall at the last hurdle, it pi**es me off but we are a lot better off than some of the other teams that haven’t seen success for a long time.
