Looked dire in the first 10 mins lmao then we slowly got on top and continued on catalyst was Heeney and Grundy.

Much better tackling and intensity Mills and Cunningham offered immediate improvement McCartin blanketed Lynch

How good is a win it didnt look likely early on!

I think today Leon Cameron was doing most of the coaching Cox didnt even have a headset on sitting on the bench.

Do we survive the bye?

Win is a win imo , even if it is against the tigers who are rebuilding.

Hopefully some confidence

Lloyd needs to go asap

Great tackling after q1

Can’t believe how bad we are offensively now.

We are no doubt a bottom 6 team but hopefully we can build

Will take the win, didn’t beat much, hopefully gives the group confidence going into the bye.

Tackled. Rowbottom led that should have voted him maybe

Gotta go for a run but I’ll say Mills cops a lot. But he lead the side well today and others flow from that

We won, was it perfect **** no

Roberts outs Mills Cunningham in frees up Blakey and Bice, perfect

Heeney class, Grundy sensational

I’ll enjoy winning

We beat Richmond well. A win is a win but against the best this year those sides have put us to the sword.

I did like the effort around the contest, the spoils and the endeavour. Need to fix out i50s but at least we can get a bit of confidence from this win and it was on the MCG which has been a hoodoo ground of recent times.

Well done Swannies. Effort.

Good response, tackling and pressure after QT was huge. Nice to see us spread our wings and get some of our ball movement and drive going today. Bice on the wing I like.

Sheldrick probably his best game, showed great composure in traffic and less hack kicks. Definitely offers something in the 22 with his clean hands. TMac having a stellar season in defence, kept another opponent goalless of Lynch.

Jordon on Vlastuin was a great move, considering he tore us a new one last year.

You forgot Rowie and Gus, 14 & 10 tackles. McCartin was superb. The backs were so Organised with Harry and Mills back.

So we are better than the 2024 Swans now with a Tigers win at the G ? 🤔

Seriously though, great win but wasn’t ‘that’ much pressure from the Tigers and that’s when we buckle.
Effort was huge though vs last 2 weeks, so onward and upward hopefully as we gets a couple more of our guns back.

Take the win…some good but the biggest thing Cox has changed is our run. He has dismantled it. I am not sure what they are valuing here but the amount of times the short give to a player running through, play on and handball, kicking it forward from a turnover fast play in general should have put another 6-8 goals being conservative. It’s like they are scared to make a decision and in the end do exactly what they should have done immediately getting the ball…watch their first reaction, it is very rarely to look forward, almost always it’s a sideways look….it’s tortuous to watch.

Rowbottom after quarter time led the way on defence but he also gets tackled almost as much as he tackles and uses the ball poorly a lot

Was Cox even doing much coaching today? just sat on the bench without a set on
