Quite possibly but our clubs respective positions haven't changed drastically over that period haha

It could be that he always intended to play for North until he finished his degree and then would move after that if North hadn't shown improvement.
Seems an awful lot of trouble when he could have just gone to Deakin

Seems really odd to me that a player would choose North over Geelong as a FS, then turn around a few years later and ask for a trade to Geelong after just establishing himself as a best 22 player. Does he have family and friends down the highway? It can't be a money thing either. Bizarre

He chose north originally due to proximity to his uni. Maybe 4 years on thats not as critical to him and priorities have changed? I do agree its odd though.

Have you got anyone with a couple of years of good footy left in them with good leadership? I think this is what Clarko is after. Does a late second rounder move the needle for us? Not at all but given we don't have any 2nd or 3rd round picks at the moment maybe North would take pick 36 or some variation of it.

Menegola is probably the guy that fits that description but i doubt he would go to north.

The talk at draft time from north fans was that he wanted to study engineering at Melbourne uni. And that was a key reason he chose north over GC.

If he’s doing this part time 1-2 subjects a semester it’s going to take him about 10 years to finish.

how geelong fit all players suppose to get in trade and 3 draft players

We have picks and cap space.
Also we are elevating 2 rookies so depending on trades we might draft only 1 or 2 players not 3.

Somewhere in our thread, forget where. Feel free to search it. Scant on details
What’s the posters name?

One of our guys says we’re talking to Bruhn, but that might not mean much.

We only have to draft one and there's no way we're actually getting all the players we're linked to. A big haul would be 3 players and we have our full suite of picks plus a couple of 3rds.

3 3rds actually and hawthorns 4th.
Will have a late 1st, late 2nd, 3 3rds and an early 4th.

North Melbourne winger Bailey Scott has been linked with a move to the Geelong Cats, four years after opting for the other side his father also represented.

The 22-year-old was selected by the Kangaroos in the 2018 Draft as a father-son pick, and has been a standout for the club this year, garnering a career-high 18 disposals per game.

The Herald Sun reports the 46-game rising star will reject a multi-year offer from North to move to Kardinia Park – the opposite direction father Robert Scott went after nine seasons at the Cats.
